Apartamentos Arena Dorada

This is 3rd time we have stayed here , but was really disappointed this time on the lack of cleaning . We only got fresh towels once in a week, room was never swept , nor moped. Bin in bathroom ,with dirty toilet roll in was never emptied. Bedding never changed , nor made. Balcony was disgusting with neighbours feeding pigeons. Pool definitely needs resurfacing. Only bonus is the location. Got fed up of having to ask for toilet roll .

Quite and simple. Clean tidy ,does exactly wot it says on the tin. Close to the ***** and beach, got bars every where you want. Supermarket just a quick trondle ,pool bar restaurant does exactly wot you need and at a reasonable price. Would go back anytime.

This was our second visit to these apar**ents , the first being Xmas 2023, Had room c22 lovely view of the pool and sea , this apar**ent was not as modern as our first time , older miscrowave & hob , tiles around kitchen area had a few small marks on them but not a big issue , bathroom shower seems to be a problem in most of these reviews , yes the runner on the door was abit grubby looking but shower itself was really good hot water anytime of day , we arrived late Saturday evening and had a cleaner come in Monday to Friday , yes it was just to empty bins and brush around , make beds but that was fine with us as we keep things tidy & clean anyway , the beds in both apar**ents we have been in was very comfy for us anyway , people prefare different beds so cannot please everyone , pillows were fine , bottom sheet , top sheet & lightweight duvet if needed , blanket in wardrobe , did find that the wardrobe & kitchen cupboard under kitchen sink smelt musty , but NO sign of any creepy crawlies , Pool as people say could do with a good paint job but didn’t stop me using the pool , needed it in the heat , the young lad on the pool bar remembered us from Xmas which was nice , even with us going as a family of three couples he asked how they all were , food at pool bar was ok for a snack , These apar**ents are in a great location no hills to climb , While we were there alot of rooms were having refurb not sure what but a lot of bedroom things were around , Would we stay here again yes , Dont expect 5 star but for us the apar**ent was fine for what we paid on a last minute deal , yes we would come back to see how the rooms have been refurbed ,

lovely spacious clean apar**ents, all you need, great shower, comfy beds, stayed in block c and the only noise we had was from the bins on the street, not that bad though, very near the ***** and no hill, which was great. staff was very nice and our cleaning lady was very hard working, leaving our room very clean every day, cannot fault it. would defo book again

Excellent location nice and close to the main area and beach. Very clean rooms cleaned daily new towels daily. Lovely pool area big pool. Rooms currently being renovated. Little supermarket with all essentials 5 minute walk. Staff very friendly and professional. Safe is a daily hire charge. Pool not heated so quite cold during May.

Dispite asking months ahead for an apar**ent in a sunny position they gave me one that was shaded most of the day by a palm tree , I realise that it was treated as a request but they didn't try even when I was there asking day after day , I have stayed at the Arena Dorada many times and have always found the staff helpful but not this time , not replying to emails and requests . The main couch cushions were tatty covers had come apart exposing there interior , they advertise flat screen TV but only 1 channel in English SKY NEWS , I asked why no other channels and was told the company that supplied them had stopped doing so ! The Jet2 rep sent an email saying if I needed help to contact him but the message stated can't reply and no number given , I asked at reception they appeared not to know him but said there was a book in the restaurant , I looked right through the book but no contact number , and the information on return flights was 4 days out of date it would appear as though he is not doing his job , very disappointed.

Great apar**ents this is the second time we have stayed here and booked again for next March, rooms are clean and cleaned on a daily basis plenty of clean towels. Nothing is a problem For the staff. I asked for extra pillows they were in our apar**ent later. I asked about a fan, they loaned me a big desk type fan for free but don’t usually do that the lady said they can contact a company who will bring a rental fan for €21 a week. I would have just bought one to be fair. There is a hob a microwave a toaster and coffee machine in the apar**ent. Not many sockets but we take an extension and plug everything into it. There is a safe in the room for a small charge. A decent size TV but we never used it. There is a decent hairdryer in the bathroom. The shower is really good too. We stayed in D13 it had a lovely see view and a sunny balcony. Pool is chilly but ok once you’re in. There’s a happy hour at the bar 11-12pm and 5-6pm 2 drinks for the price of one. The best part you are literally round the corner to the ***** near Route 66 bar. Fantastic location. One of our favourite apar**ents and we will continue to return.

Booked as a cheap break last minute via jet2, didn't know what to expect with the mixed reviews, but 'Wow'. Check in was prompt and friendly. We were told we had a sea view, but expected a glimpse of the sea, but when we opened our curtains we were greeted with a full view of the sea in front of our eyes. The apar**ents themselves are clean and well equipped, but probably more suited to couples rather than larger parties. We asked for extra pillows which were given, only downside, as with most Spanish properties, not a double bed, but twins pushed together. The beds were comfortable and sleeping was not a problem. The pool area is very relaxing with plenty of sunbeds and the bar/restaurant , very reasonably priced with happy hours for drinks and snacks. The location is fantastic set just behind the *****. Would stay here again if in PDC.

Excellent location very clear lovely staff I will be coming back really do not know what people going on about the appoin**ent are lovely and clean first time going to Lanzarote but I can said I will be back I have booked from next year at the appoin**ent Thank you
