Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Beautiful venue, with the most courteous staff ! The food is wonderful. Everything you need to enjoy yourself is right at your fingertips! Entertainment is at your doorstep. My early morning photo looks like a postcard. Its picture perfect.

We love everything about El Cid. We stayed at Ventus this trip & it was great. Our butlers, Are Mendez & Manuel Diaz are the very best. We consider them to be family. Food was great as usual; pools were wonderful & the entire staff makes us feel like we are at home.

We love to visit this beautiful resort. We have stayed there several times, and always feel very welcome. This resort is perfect for families or couples. We spend a lot of time in the adults only pool because we are retired and enjoy the relaxing feel of this area. We were there when hurricane Halene hit, and it was amazing how they took care of us. We have been so lucky to have the butler Manuel. He is so helpful and takes care of everything we need. We look forward to returning in May.

Our 5th anniversary trip here... first one was in 2016 at the Marina (they were building Ventus at the time), and the rest have been at Ventus. Love this all-inclusive resort. Really can't beat the facility and views. So relaxing. Our room had the perfect ocean view, loved the adult-only pool, 7 restaurants on site... you can stay and relax or head out on excursions if you wish. Grounds are nicely kept. Room was clean and comfy. Staff is very kind. Spend a little extra money and get the Platinum room package, which provides you with some nice upgrades and perks. Adult-only pool/bar was where we spent the majority of our time. So relaxing, beverage service was great. Beach was clean, water was beautiful, and while we didn't go down to the beach, there are water activities and quite a few people kayaked, swam, and paddled boarded. Some things to point out: the deadbolt lock was broken on our room, but maintenance fixed it the following morning. In comparison with our 3 pre-Covid trips (2016, 2018, 2019) the food is getting better, but not back to the previous standards (we wonder if that's just a problem where getting help is hard these days). All restaurants were not open in the evening like they used to be - which caused us to not get reservations our first two nights (but they have a decent buffet as an option). We loved the Italian, French, and Japanese restaurants. Housekeeping was a bit slow, not getting our room cleaned between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm (we are at the pool all day). Sometimes they would have to slip in while we went to dinner. Restaurants/buffets had a lot of variety, but as mentioned - quality wasn't always the best, but you shouldn't have any problems finding something to eat. We do always enjoy the Italian, French, and Japanese restaurants. We will be back next year because it's a great location and the amenities are a great value. You're between Cancun and Playa del Carman. We always feel safe here, but we also aren't the type to go on outside excursions without using a tour guide company.

We had a very pleasant stay and love to go again. The Service, the workers, the Butlers provided super good services. The food from all the restaurants are great. Too bad since it's low season and they temporary close one of the restaurants. Plus they just open one restaurant for lunch only which is the only down side on this trip.

What an AMAZING trip! My husband and I went to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary and had the best time. We will definitely be going back. Our butlers Alma and Luis were rockstars and made our week the best possible. Alberto had us taken care of poolside with drinks all day long! Jorge was fantastic on the catamaran and snorkeling tour where we saw two sea turtles, a huge barracuda and a sting ray! We cannot wait to return :)

This place was wonderful. The staff is so hard working and kind. They cared about our happiness and were so fun at activities and meals. The food selection was decent and we didn't have any issues making reservations during our stay. We went with a 3, 10, and 16 year old and they all had a great time. The three resort options are great to break up the day, and a nice variety of pools and food options, along with a water slide, jump cliff, and baby pools. We stayed at Ventus, but all the resorts are nice in their own way. The beach wasn't the cleanest but it likely is just the time of year. It was still beautiful and had many photo worthy spots. The staff didn't pressure us to do any extras, but they offered options. No one pressured for tips, as other reviews stated. There are signs all over for the different wildlife you may see, and so much care goes into making every day nice for the guests. There were shows at night for the whole family. They even made our son a cake for his birthday, which was waiting at our room. There are people working day and night to maintain the property. My heart is sad to be leaving. I highly recommend this resort and hope to return again soon. Thank you for the beautiful trip El Cid! We will miss it here!

Another fabulous trip at Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort! Our last trip here was in July of 2019 and we were not disappointed! We were so impressed with the facility (from the beautiful pools, incredibly spacious rooms - one of the only places where we didn’t have 2 double beds but rather a King and a Queen Murphy bed, phenomenal service by professionals who were very kind, accommodating and always had a smile, exceptional food with lots of selections and most importantly our awesome Butlers - Ivan and Cali.) Ivan and Cali always checked in on us, helping with dinner reservations, driving us, and letting us know daily events. We were very impressed with their attention to detail and were surprised when they decorated our room for our anniversary- providing us with delicious chocolate covered strawberries, wine, balloons and rose pedals. It was beautiful! We enjoyed the vibe at the Marina pool with the rock to jump off of, swim up bar, music and being close to the beach. The infinity pool was also a favourite especially for a night swim - looking out into the Gulf of Mexico was so relaxing. Since our kids were a bit older this visit we accessed the adults only pool a few times as well and really enjoyed the lounger chairs as they were the most comfortable! The poolside service was excellent with a variety of drinks and great service from Martin, Hilary, and Marcus! Thank you We look forward to another visit!

Another great stay at the Ventus. This was our families second stay, and we had just as much fun as the first. The resort and rooms are very clean and well kept. Food is great too and there is a good selection to choose from. I enjoyed tacos, every day, at the Marcado restaurant. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. Our butlers were Orlando and Leo. Both were great but we saw Orlando more. I guess due to their scheduling. He really did a great job making us feel welcome and taking care of our needs. Looking forward to our 3rd visit!!
