The Fives Oceanfront - Puerto Morelos

The staff is absolutely splendid, courtesy, helpful, and willing. The food, however tasteless and left us with much to be desired. The bar in the lobby has the best mixologist so far

Das Hotel befindet sich am Ende Puerto Morelos in einer ruhigen Sackgasse. Es ist neu und sehr gepflegt und der Stuff ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir waren in einer ziemlich großen Suite mit einem schönen Seitenblick auf das karibische Meer untergebracht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab verschiedene Eierspeisen, einen Früchteteller sowie Toasts mit Marmelade und Honig. Es ist natürlich kein und 4 Sterne Frühstück, sowas braucht man meines Erachtens aber auch nicht wirklich. Die Anlage liegt direkt am Meer, man kann ohne Aufpreis liegen und einen sonnenschirm nutzen. Wenn man möchte, serviert der Kellner einem kalte Drinks direkt an die Liege. Die Preise im Restaurant sind für mexikanische Verhältnisse relativ hochpreisig, dafür war das Abendessen unfassbar lecker. Es gibt sogar einen Doktor, der einem einen Antigen Test abnimmt, sehr nützlich für die weite Reise in die USA. Unser Fazit: wir kommen gerne wieder, es lohnt sich.

One of the best hotels!! Everything is amazing, since you arrive, they make you feel so warm. The rooms are great and the beach is one of the best ones in Cancun.

Wow where do we begin. This is our 2nd time coming to The Fives Oceanfront because we loved it so much and our 2nd time was even better than our first. Everything was wonderful, the beach, the pool, the food, our room, but none of this would be possible with the STAFF they’re the ones who make this resort AMAZING. To name a few of the people who took care of us Erick, Emir, George, Baldo, Carlos, Angel, Luisa, Moses/Moises!! We came with our 2 kids ages (4) & (9months) and they all were so caring and patient with us. Can’t wait to come back again.

The stars were all the waitstaff in all locations and we the proximity to town my only criticism is that there should be a change in the menus every few days,it gets repetitive if you’re staying for a week or more. That being said we are planning to stay there again.

I booked a few nights for my parents who are seniors. My mom uses a cane and found the hotel accessible; the elevators and closeness to the beach from the hotel were perfect. They loved the hotel location and amenities but more than anything, they received excellent service and were glad with the kindness of the hotel staff. They want to return to this hotel in the future and I look forward to visiting too.

The property was nice. We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the area was. Its about a 15 minute walk to the town center, but there are taxi's readily available for $5 a trip if you dont want to walk. We did not do the all inclusive option, however, breakfast was still included at either restaurant.The breaksfast we had was good. Service at was slow, but the staff was friendly. We did not eat lunch or dinner at any of the restaurants on site. The 2 pools and the beach area were nice and kept clean, however, it was always a struggle to find seating, so I can only imagine the struggle during the busy season. We had the junior suite and it was spacious with a small kitchenette, couch, and king bed. The bathroom was nice, with him and hers sinks and a rainfall shower. The balcony was also nice. If you order room service, be aware that on top of the food charges, they do add a service/delivery fee, which was not mentioned on the room service menu or anywhere. Another thing we weren't a fan of was at checkout they ask you to do a survey before they let you check out, which actually turns out to be a google review. Overall, i would recommend the hotel & would stay again

You cancelled our booking that was made in August one day before departure. Unacceptable

The property is stunning. The customer service was great. The things I was highly disappointed by were my quality of sleep and access to the pool. I arrived in the evening and I always take an evening swim before bed at hotels. They are usually open until 10. The Fives pool was closed by 8pm. Such a disappointment to not be able to use the pool on a beautiful warm evening. Second was all the lights in my room. The smoke detector was directly over my bed and had a blinking green light. It was like a mini strobe light and very much impacted my ability to sleep well. Last, the prices were unclear and I was charged extra fees at the end of my stay that I had not expected. The sunrise is beautiful from the beach chairs but the staff cleans up sea**** at sunrise and they rake right in front of the chairs as the sun comes up. Its nice that they do this but they worked right in front of me so I had to move.
