The room was not what was expected or as shown in photos. It was over priced for the tiny room we were given on the third floor and no elevator. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Central location and close to walking to the beach.

Nice staff, and public areas of hotel are fine and look very promising, but work needed in rooms proper. In my case - old furniture, floor needed a thorough cleaning and reglazing, door frames (and vent outside from bathroom) needed repair and refinishing and all doors needed replacement. Main door to room lacked additional security. Shower head not working properly.

The place is in bad shape and very loud
The sink were not cleaned full of human hair
The ceiling has mold and rundown.

Only have stairs, its 77 stairs to the 5th floor. Can not sit on toilet as it is in a corner. The pictures on ******* are totally glorified.

This hotel is located in a very accessible main street, close to lots of restaurants, bars and a short walk to either the beach or the malecon. The staff are excellent and responsive.
It can get loud at night due to its location. So if you're a light sleeper, that might be a concern.
It's also not the newest hotel, so keep that in mind for your expectations. I found it perfectly acceptable, and the cost can't be beat.

The room I booked was different than what they gave me. I explained it to them. They didn’t change it. They dismissed my concern. We left check out second day and we booked another place somewhere else.
