1.Beautiful place...
2.hotel needs updates
3.They don't provide wash clothes..u have to buy them in the gift shop
4. Customer service needs work
5. They followed me in the gift shop like I was stealing EVERY TIME I WENT IN THERE.
6. There were NO PARTIES THERE.. u have to go to the sister location and they only provide a shuttle half the time
7. The US dollar goes a long way
8.My room didn't have AC the first night
9. Steakhouse night staff are HORRIBLE

The grounds of the property are very nice. Beach is awesome with plenty of chairs. Dining is just ok. Rooms are dated but clean.

Riu Republica was amazing! Staff were helpful and friendly! The whole resort was nice and clean, on time with food and plenty of different fresh food options. Was easy to schedule excursions, car services. No drama with anyone or anything! Very fun, having night life and other activities throughout the week if you don’t want to party. 10/10 will most likely come back again!!

The property grounds were beautiful and well kept. The property seemed to cater the events to the very young crowd and they were obnoxious. There was pulled up plants from planters, trash, and vomit in the elevator. The staff had their work cut out for them and I feel like they did a good job, but the majority of the guests were so disrespectful, (Including whooping and hollering in the hallways and grounds until about 3-5 am) and I feel sorry for the staff that had to come behind and pick up after these immature young adults!

The rooms/facilities were nice. They just showed signs of wear and tear. Some things need to be updated.

Good entertainment had a issue in my room and staff handled it as soon as I made my complaint food was good only issue was a few roaches around the rooms and hallways

I liked that there were many different pool options since some seemed to be more party like and some were quieter. It was pretty walkable compared to other big resorts. The buffet variety was pretty good. I tried the Asian restaurant and that was pretty good but the steakhouse I should have skipped that one.

The hotel itself is very nice bar staff are nice … however :/ the food is mid not the best … the rooms are mid FYI there is no TV cable .. I spent a good amount of time I would say at least an hour or two trying to get logged into Google TV or Netflix to come to find out that the Internet does not connect to the Roku TVs they have in their rooms I don’t know if they put a setting where it does not work but let me tell you I’ve talked to multiple people during my stay that were gas and they were also having issues with the TVs. They only play the basic channels which I would say are 80s sitcoms in Spanish very very blurry and that is their local TV stations so do not count on having a TV if you own a tablet or iPad bring that if you’re planning on relaxing in the room at all because there will not be a TV. It is pretty much a party resort I would recommend this resort for ages 18 to 26 is the majority of the guests I got very sick on trip food poisoning so spend half the days in room with no tv
