My wife reserved a cabana at the axio resturant, for my birthday . She talked to a lady called Luchme . She confirmed and double checked with her that we do not want any flowers on the table, we want romantic music played, we are still talking about the occasion in Waldorf Astoria hotel . We arrived, there were tulips scattered on the table, the cabana smelled , its wasn't cold, the lights flickering due to an electrical problem, they put small cheap plastic candles , a big screen tv on playing a noisy terrible Egyptian music clip, the whole scene looked so cheap and frustrating . No bothered to check the cabana, nor stick to our request for this special occasion , which happens once a year . I complained and asked for the manager or duty manager , and we met this fine gentleman called DJ, who tried his best to satisfy us, he noticed all the mistakes in detail and checked the requests in the reservation . We were shocked and mad, why no one looked at all these mistakes or fulfill our request . I hope the management cares about their guests and cares about our complain , try to do something about it, and the staff should do their job professionally and seriously . Nothing was right, not even the food thar was so simple and below our expectations , simple starters, hard chicken , small piece of fish and a very sweet red velvet cake full of sugar , we ate a small piece and left the whole cake, we did not take it as a take away . It was a bad experience which i do not recommend others . 5/10/2024
