Decent budget hotel. The whole Racine area is sketchy at best. Every hotel I've stayed at has weird people at it. It is what it is. I have to go there for work on a project crew so I don't really have a choice but to go to Racine. You get what you pay for here, which is a basic room. The hotel staff is always very nice. I go back each week for work. The are updating many of the rooms but it doesn't bother the other guests.

Please stay elsewhere! This place stole money from us! I wish I read the reviews of this place ahead of time but we were travelling and needed to stay somewhere for one night. Once we got home from our vacation I checked my credit card and this place charged an additional 2x $100 and 1 x $50 ($350 Canadian). I called and have never spoken to anyone more rude and arrogant. He told me the charges were for smoking. I told him we do not smoke, there must be an error and he said there was “evidence”. To reverse the charges I would have to speak to the manager. Well I never heard back, and called and left messages another 3 times. Contacted Sonesta, the parent company 4 times and each time they were very polite but just forwarded my concerns to the manager at the property. I never was given any breakdown as to the additional charges, no courtesy of a response and discussion over these invalid charges. I was going to complain to the BBB but they already have a “F” rating. I would have rather slept in my car at a nearby Walmart. Thankfully my credit card company investigated and reversed the charges but unless I hear otherwise, this is theft, pure and simple.
