Neemrana's - Ramgarh Bungalows

Spending time together with friends @Heritage property is always the best time! With very warm team led by Shailendra it’s an experience one will want to repeat every few months time permitting! Food was delicious… kick starting with bfast on bright and sunny morning, very interesting terraces and ambient music. Lunch and dinner one could have the *** pasand stuff. .. Wd recommend kumaoonni bichoo saag, Bhatt ki daal and madua (ragi) roti… must have!… inspite of the cold winter was served hot/warm. And in between lunch and dinner ..Pakoras sandwiches@ tea time with sigri @4pm with temperatures of the likes of 8-9degrees was a treat! Never miss it! This was a repeat all days Thank you and Best wishes to the entire team!

The most warm and hospitable service and staff. Special mention to Shailendraji. Very reasonable and very good food. The view of sunrise and sunset are amazing. The property is well located. We stayed in the renovated Fig. Love the breakfast time music.

I had a wonderful time at the Ramgarh Bungalows. The deck is my favourite place, one can spend the entire day just there enjoying the yummiest meals and endless cups of tea and coffee with the freshly baked cookies and the fresh namak paras. The reason to go back again and again is the hospitality and the personal touch of the staff. Can't thank them enough for looking after us so lovingly. A home away from home!

This is a beautiful place.Calm and serene and this is complemented by the ever attentive and courteous staff.The Chef prepares excellent dishes.Complementary breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. The ***ager, Shailendra Dhaila, is doing a great job and makes the stay a memorable experience in each and every way.

Now this will be a long review and I hope to give some useful tips to fellow travellers. I went for a three night stay at Ramgarh Bungalows and I came out pleasantly surprised by my experience. The Location: It is around 40 mins from Nainital which is good. The property is located at a decent height and the views are good. The property: There are three different properties at three different locations. The main one is Old Bungalow which has multiple rooms and the main restaurant and this is the main property. There are two more around 200-500m away - Cliff House and Writer's Bungalow. These two are small and have 2-4 rooms. They do not have full staff but I understand that they have a kitchen and I have seen them. They are beautiful as well. Cliff House is not so great given its size but it is neat and clean. The rooms: The rooms are old and well maintained. The bathrooms are nice. I had stayed with my family in a suite and it was spacious with two bathrooms. All the rooms are awesome. The best rooms are Fuschia and the one adjacent to it, I think it was called Iris. The worst rooms are Peach and Lemon, yes these are the names of the rooms. Please do not book these two rooms Food: the food was good, not great. The staff is very helpful and do their job well. They understand hospitality. Special Thanks to Rajendra who helped us open our car when our keys got locked inside. Thankfully, they brew good coffee and make good parathas. Overall: This is perhaps once of the best places to stay near Nainital given everything - the rooms, the property, the view, the service. Highly recommended.

Stayed in March 2024 (room Mgnolia) As with any Neemrana property, the overall ambience, experience and meh***-nawazi by the staff is very nice. This place is a little different from other Neemrana properties - as in the rich landscape dominates the view more than the heritage buildings. Though this place is smaller (in terms of campus area) than other properties, the quality of space, time and people make the stay pleasant and memorable. Words are often too incomplete to really explain the experience. The rooms themselves are exquisite and clean, food is simply marvellous. The staff is very courteous and make you feel at home right from the point you enter the gate. The setting of this premises, views to outside ***** with the trkking trails are good. The ***ager offered us to show the neighbouring Writer's bungalow and Cliff house - which too are a ambience of its own. In addition to the flora and fauna, we spotted ***y birds and butterflies (thanks to the richly landscaped flower gardens). We sure hope to return soon to enjoy the tranquil and pleasant stay and wish best for the prosperity of such property.

A very comfortable stay at the Ramgarh Bungalows. Beautiful cottages, and well kept rooms. Good food, and great coffee kept us in good mood throughout. The best part of the place is peace, quiet and beauty of the surrounding hills. This place is also home to the most colorful and beautiful Himalayan birds, and it was a sheer delight watching them sing their heart out and dance in the mountains. I will definitely visit again and again.

We had three most enjoyable days in the Writers' Cottage. The Bird Room was spacious and comfortable, with basic traditional facilities. All the staff were attentive and thoughtful. Meals were to order, with breakfast in the main cottage a pleasant 300 metres walk away. We enjoyed some of the local walks, using the guide booklet in our room.
