Jamie was a courteous and friendly host both in initial email communications and in person. The setting was perfect for a medical trip lasting 10 nights - a secure, comfortable location in a peaceful suburb, with a small shopping centre very close by which was very useful for self-catering needs (Woolworths Food, Dischem) and it also had a good coffee shop. I appreciated being able to run on my own safely in the mornings to the nearby Delta Park, which was a great and safe venue for running or walking, with plenty of people out also exercising / walking their dogs. Charlotte was also very courteous and helpful with cleaning the cottage and doing laundry. Friendly dog and cats, too! Thanks, would recommend. (One small point - the cottage could do with better lighting, but this was a very minor ******.)

I've stayed a number of times at MOONFLOWER COTTAGES and each longterm stay has been a real Home from home experience. The venue, the quality of the apartments and the location make it a 1st choice when spending time in Johannesburg. The centrality of MOONSTONE COTTAGES means I can access anywhere in the city by UBER

I spent 4 wonderful weeks at Moonflower Cottages and stayed in one of the self catering cottages. The cottages offer everything you need for a pleasant stay because they are fully equipped with all necessary kitchen items and provided a nice ambience embedded in a beautiful and well maintained garden. The pool is excellent and I used it every morning before breakfast. Very beneficial is the close by supermarket where you can buy your groceries. Moonflower Cottages has a very good energy backup system so that I had throughout may stay light and a fast internet connection also when there was load shedding. I felt throughout my stay super safe; the property is well secured and there is also a private security services taking care of the neighborhood. While staying at Moonflower Cottages I was overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of Jamie and Sylvia. They introduced me to their friends and invited me for several activities so that I felt part of the family. That made my stay unforgettable and I am looking forward to come back to Moonflower Cottages.

Jamie And Sylvia hosted me for a month. Lovely place they have. Very spacious and clean. My room was cleaned every week & they allowed me to host a few friends, that was Lekker!. Netflix in my studio so I could binge on the weekends. Thank you Jamie & Sylvia you are such lovely hosts.

The rooms are self cartering. The place is quite and secure, with private security company providing security in the neighbourhood. I liked our stay. Heating provided for the bedroom with electric blanket. A heater provided in the seating area though we never used it during our stay.

Charming and quiet cottages nicely located in the center of the city. Peaceful and zen atmosphere. Lovely guests. Nice swimming pool and numerous spots to relax Jamie was of great help to provide advices and tips

This property is Tucktaway in a very quiet, residential neighborhood. It is surprisingly closed to activities in Johannesburg however, far enough away to be able to go home and relax. For an extended stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would use them again.

Nice accomodation in a safe easy to navigate area. Not too far from most popular sites. Jamie was a great host and couldn’t do enough to assist. Went to local restaurants , heard local bands and did a Soweto bike tour, all of these within a 25min radius

I've been here in total 5 times , it's my home away from home when I'm in Johannesburg, Jamie and Sylvia are great host, and very accommodating,The cottages are clean and neat, wifi and lights during loadshedding, Will be returning when I get a chance, Truly cherish the friendship that has developed over the years as a repeat guest,The host are always ready to help solve any issues that one may have or to give recommendations on places to see.
