We spent 7 nights at Rajbari Bawali during Pujo 2024 @ Rajbari Bawali.. It was a great experience and hospitality. Everything was so well managed- From Pujo rituals, to the cultural programs, lovely food and dhunuchi dance. Everyone was very welcoming and special call out to Subhajit Choudhury, who went extra miles to make our stay super comfortable. Thank You Subhajit. Keep up your good work.

Every time I stay in this property I am enchanted. This heritage palace was tastefully restored and furnished. Among the 3 Royal suites with their sumptuous beds and antique furnitures, my favourite is the Indigo suite. My bed was very soft. All the employers of the hotel are very nice and good looking. I appreciated among others the service of Mr Swarup (supervisor restaurant), Mr Bilash (supervisor restaurant), Mr Imtiaz (steward) who were perfect, nice and helpful, and I can't mention many others who were like angels. The food is excellent, really outstanding. I appreciate also the fact that there is no TV. The swimming pool is extremely nice. I highly recommend this place.

Rajbari Bawali is a perfect luxurious getaway from Kolkata. My October 2024 visit is my second stay on this property. I was so impressed with my earlier visit that I wanted to enjoy it with my family here. We booked two rooms, 851 and 852. The rooms were luxurious. 851 especially gives off royal vibes. The senior citizens were especially very well taken care of. Wheelchair was at our disposal always and the staff plied the elderly citizens safely up the pavilion stairs. I want to thank them especially. Manager Subhajit Chowdhury paid a lot of attention to our requirements. One of the major highlights of this place is its food. It's very elaborate, authentic, and served in style. All in all, Rajbari Bawali is a great experience, especially if you are in the mood to pamper yourself or your loved ones.

Oh my gosh this hotel is out of this world! Ten out of ten old calcutta reimagined with such class. Beautiful and stylish with great amenities. A nice isolated location with great food also. If you want to chill this is the place for a wonderful three days stay. Special thanks to Swapdip who looked after us personally. Like our own personal PA. We stayed in the best suite they had. Great for honeymoon this place is. Book it! Trust me you will not regret it!

Me & my husband booked the Royal Heritage suit for my birthday and later upgraded it to Zamindari suit. Had a great time there enjoying the beautiful scenic views, rich cultural food and warm hospitality by the staff especially Mr. Subhojit has been very helpful. My pet kitten also had an amazing time there.

I like very nice this place. Wonderful ambiance & peaceful place. There are very nice hospitality. People are very good behaviour. Most important thinks I like, this property is pet friendly. I obvious like to again visit this place with my pet.

Well maintained palatial property replete with history. The entire property has a lovely rustic charm and the staff are doing a very good job of maintaining it. They were courteous and efficient despite the weekend rush. There was a corporate event which could have been a bummer but was well managed thankfully. Our room wingman (Subhojit) was very helpful, kudos to him. We travelled with 2 young kids but had no challenges at all. Food in the dining area was fantastic, specially the thali lunch. The evening musical arrangement was mesmerising and added a special touch to my parent’s anniversary. It’s within easy reach of Kolkata and we would definitely recommend it.

Had a royal and grand experience at this beautiful property The Sandhya aarti was mesmerizing continuing with a musical evening by two very talented singers Service is very prompt and the food is delectable ☺️ Nibedita ,Priya and Arpan gave us a courteous service

Pretty underwhelmed upon finding a live snake in the bathroom. Since I was staying with elderly parents and small kids, we might have narrowly escaped a snake accident. If the owner chooses to monetize a wild habitat, at least make sure its safe for families- considering the exorbitant pricing of stay and food. And nobody cared to share a word of apology. In most international places, they would refund partial cost (that is not what I’m expecting). The food price will definitely burn a hole in your pocket , however the dining place is riddled with house flies. Could barely eat at peace. Flies all over fruits and yogurt and juices. Please invest on some fly catchers or cover food items! Not value for my money, in addition to safety concerns of snake. Wouldn’t recommend.
