Borgo Giallonardo Wine Relais

Here's the English translation: Very nice rooms in a very well-maintained facility. Beautiful and well kept pool area and very friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner were also very good. We really enjoyed our stay there and would book this hotel again.

We stayed 2 nights. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The mansion is nicely located amidst an olive-tree garden. Lovely swimming-pool with super sunset-cocktails. Breakfast buffet very nice, better than what you usually get in this region. We had finer once; setting is amazing but the food itself was not matching the setting; not bad at all, but you might expect more. Staff is very friendly and helpful. One negative point; we found 2 dirty laundry bags of the previous guests in our cupboard; in se not a big deal, but I expected a small compensation (free drink?) when handing them over at the reception.

We checked into Giallonardo on our Sicily Road trip in June 2022. The staff was friendly, but there was an odd sense dissatisfaction in the air, allready upon arrival. We were shown our ‘Classic Room’, which resembled more of a cabin than a room. ‘Well it’s just for sleeping’, we were told. Not very helpful, but since all other rooms were taken, we settled in. Unfortunately the room is right next to the kitchen and the clattering of dishes, the humming of machines will prevent you from rest or sleep until kitchen is done. Yes, they have other rooms, but all in all.. it was just not an inviting experience. Our agent reacted quickly and booked us into another guest house (see later review). If you are looking for a GREAT place to stay, choose NOT the classic room at Giallonardo. Having said this.. the staff was understanding and reacted well when we left. Breakfast was good and the location is nice, too. The place just did not feel right for us

Magnifique petit domaine au milieu des oliviers, calme, magnifique piscine (non chauffée), beau jardin et belle bâtisse. Une dizaine de chambres au maximum, très belle décoration, belle superficie, terrasse individuelle, bel équipement, très bonne literie. Accueil et service à la fois discrets et attentionnés. Restauration de qualité : de la vraie cuisine, bien réalisée, une huile d’olive maison excellente, un vin du domaine (blanc, cépage Grillo) bien plus convainquant que ceux que nous avions goûtés par ailleurs. Petit-déjeuner bon, simple et fait maison.

Posto fantastico, due giorni di puro relax, immerso nella natura, piscina bordosfioro con idromassaggio circondata da alberi di olivo. Camere super pulite e con arredamento semplice ma ricercato e curato in ogni particolare. Personale super disponibile, attento ad ogni esigenza e pronto a coccolarti ad ogni richiesta. Ritorneremo sicuramente

Posto carino con delle potenzialità ma da rivedere in moltissime cose Per chi cerca la pace e la tranquillità è indicato Intanto appena si arriva si attraversa con l’auto la zona della piscina e questo secondo me è un grosso difetto. Le stanze carine La cosa che però ci ha deluso enormemente stata la cena Pochissima scelta e i piatti veramente poco entusiasmanti Da rivedere assolutamente Nell insieme prezzi troppi alti per quello che offrono Un vero peccato perché si potrebbe fare di più
