This trip started on a bad note as the first hotel front desk was not as helpful when we checked in. (She smiled and she’s very nice, but I can sense that she doesn’t mean it when I asked for moveable shower. What’s interesting was that she said this hotel doesn’t have moveable shower when I knew that other holiday inn has moveable. Think about I have two young children and it’s very inconvenient for them to shower without using the moveable shower) When I asked a different front desk lady, she told me the same thing, but she offered us to move to a different room that’s bigger, with bath tub and also a moveable shower. She saved the review for this hotel, and I wish the holiday inns have more moveable showers in the future.

The ceiling in the pool area had many places where it was cracked and leaking water. As if their had been a flood on the floor above. The hot tub was also not working, or the heater was not working or the jets. All the staff was very friendly though and that is a plus

WiFi bad experience, abruptness at front desk, food ran out at breakfast, rear door entry not working, reading lamp by bed barely bright enough to read.. x

The room itself would have been fine if it didn’t reek of someone smoking in there. As soon as you walk in you smell that awful stench of old smoke and it was even worse in the bathroom as if they were smoking in there. There was no fan in the bathroom either which I thought was also weird. And the window barely cracked open so we coudn’t air it out. I had let the person at the front desk know but she wasn’t able to do anything about it other than let the manager know. Didn’t hear anything back yet. We slept and got out of there as soon as we could. Beds were ok.
