Booked as a Comfort Double there was nothing comfortable about this room. External bathroom did not close properly and couldn't be locked, from inside or out, so anyone could use it! Nowhere to sit in room. very noisy from trains and beer garden. Very unimpressed.

Really Grim. Felt so unsafe and so I welcomed I left and went else where. Staff really unwelcoming and uninterested. Booked a double room with private bathroom - found I was sharing a dirty wc and shower with a door that did not shut!! Door at rear of property left unlocked and insecure onto street - felt very very vulnerable. Facilities poor and very dated. Travelodge a much better and safe option.

I’m not sure where to start. It’s not clean for a start. Dirty walls and doors. Used tissues on the floor. Cracked and marked mirrors. Lights that don’t work. No shower mat. Toilet door that doesn’t close. Cobwebs and dead spiders. The room number on the door is even broken. A real slum !

Small, basic room above a pub. I thought the price I paid included breakfast but discovered it didn't on arrival. The wifi both in the room and in the pub was apallingly bad. It was 'connected without internet' for 90% of the time & when it did connect it was so slow that it didn't even open my gmails. I arrived after a long drive up from the west country and needed to open and send some messages. It proved impossible. If I had paid £50 or 60 I probably would have been happy but £90 a night room only is simply not good value. A disappointing experience

Great staff and very friendly... sunny beer garden!

This was a bit of a panic booking and learned the mistake of not reading reviews. There is a lot that could be improved upon at this property. When we checked in they seemed almost surprised and then after waiting whilst the host went to "deal with a pizza", we were led to our room. It was very dated, very basic, had no towels, no cups for the coffee and tea but best of all! Still had poo in the loo from the previous visitors. The website also clearly said bed and breakfast but there was no breakfast available. My advice would be pay the extra 320 and stay at Reigate Manor.

For a budget stop over this was excellent. Lovely clean room and facilities. Right by Reigate station for anyone wishing to commute into the city. Bar downstairs was well stocked and seemed popular with the locals. Basic but acceptable food available up until 2100. Happy to return if in the area again.

It was comfy, the staff were friendly, it was a good location for Gatwick Airport and I honestly can't knock it too much. The train was noisy, but that was my fault for not doing my research, it did stop late into the night so it didn't disrupt too much.

Arrived at the hotel, downstairs was fine but the room was disgusting. Didn't stay the rest of the weeks booking. There was what looked like faeces stains on a pillow, dirty make-up pads left in the room it had obviously not been cleaned in preparation for my stay. The picture of the showerhead says it all. When I complained to ********** they informed me they could not get in touch with the hotel to offer a refund so I had paid 4 nights in full for a one night stay. Stick to being a pub and do not offer services for places to stay as the majority of the reviews here say the cleanliness and attitude is shocking
