Très bel hôtel situé près de la gare dans une rue animée et pleine de restaurants mais suffisamment en retrait pour que le bruit n'y parvienne pas.

Not expensive so don't expect frills or a big room or air conditioning - but it is good value for money. Great central location yet set behind the main drag in Reims so quieter as a result. Very friendly staff.

Rooms very small. Little ventilation. Bathroom tiny. Poor quality toiletries - no shower gel. Staff didn’t know what they were doing. No facilities as such. There was a bar but it was closed! Only thing going for this hotel is that it is in the city centre.

We loved this hotel. It’s just off the main pedestrianised drag. You have to pass through a rather dingy tunnel but then you enter a pretty little courtyard and a charming hotel. The thing we loved was that it was like it had been caught in a time trap: unchanged for decades. An old fashioned lift; real brass door keys; a staircase carpet scuffed by generations of visitors. The rooms are small but perfect for our short stop and at a surprisingly good price!

The hotel has historic charm--like the quaint lift. It is in a great location in Reims on a lively pedestrian street close to sights and connections. It is across the street from an underground city parking service. There are a variety of restaurants for all budgets in the area (but make reservations for the better ones). The breakfast is good if you want something substantial, otherwise there are a couple coffee shops down the block. We stayed in November and it was quiet. Some may find the old hotel a bit cramped a worn here and there, but the TV and plumbing worked well and the beds were comfortable.

Hotel Crystal is a quiet haven only five minutes walk from the train station. The property is very clean and I love the terrace in front.
The staff is wonderful, and I recommend the breakfast!

They would make you pay extra charge for bringing your own breakfast in your room even though this possibly was offer to me at check in … « take your own tray at breakfast room, bring it yourself to your room and back to breakfast room free of charge » The lady responsable of the hotel changed her mind the next day and said they will charge me over 6 euros (special tarif apparently!) if I were to do that again. There is absolutely no logic or reasonable reasons to make a client pay to bring their own breakfast in their room. The same lady was actually very rigide with her nonsense explanation For that reason I do not recommend this hotel that anyways has nothing exceptional. Cheers

Les chambres d'hôtel sont correctes pour le tarif seul petit bémol si vous aimez les douches à l'eau chaude vous pouvez oublier arriver au soir l'eau était froide je l'ai signalé à l'accueil toujours le même résultat le lendemain matin toujours aussi froide sans parler de la pression de la douche😉

JE DECONSEILLE CET HOTEL
Ne pas croire qu'un 3 étoiles vaut toujours mieux qu'un 2 étoiles.
- Chambres sans aucune insonorisation, si voisin bruyant comme j'ai pu avoir, c'est nuit blanche assurée ou partielle.
- Eau chaude de la douche arrive au bout de 10 minutes (problème qui existe depuis des mois voire plus).
- Odeur d'égoût dans la chambre car la porte de la salle d'eau était ouverte.
- Parking payant hyper cher 16,5€ (pas que pour les 24h)
- Pas de geste type bouilloire et sachet de thé.
POSITIF mais ça ne concerne pas tout le monde: la nuitée du chien est gratuite. La réceptionniste était sympa.
