Dimitrios Beach Hotel Adults Friendly 14 Plus

Stayed here for two weeks, from the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the receptionist who was friendly and informative. The bedrooms were large and modern and cleaned each day and towels replaced. Rooms have fridges and kettle. Only slight negative there is no lift to some of the accommodation that is not in the main hotel and quite a few steps around the hotel. The dining room had a lovely sitting area outside which we sat out for breakfast and dinner each day. The staff in the dining room were always very friendly adding to the enjoyment of the holiday. The food was variable and always a good choice. The pool bar was open and used all the time we were there and had Greek music evening, Cretan dancing evening. The bar staff were very friendly and fun. The pool area was not large but had no problem with a sun bed, if you wanted the sun you needed to move around. The pool was very cold. The beach was only a few minutes walk away. Some places on the beach were charging 7 euros for two sun beds and a brolly but if you walked a few minutes towards town you could get free sun beds in exchange for buying drinks. They did not pressurise you to keep buying and did not charge more for food and drinks. Walk into town took about 30 minutes going at a leisurely pace and was well worth it. Rethymnon did not disappoint.

We are in our second week here.Hotel is nice with close location to the beach, cleaning is done every day, food varied and tasty. Personal very friendly but VERY OVERWORKED and not enough for this size hotel. We can see same personal from 7am to 10PM … this is to much. They do everything to please the guests but you can see they are tired and don’t make face to all the guests. Hotel does not offer All Inclusive anymore so be prepared to pay for your drinks at the dinner. Pool is tiny but enough to cool down the heat of the day. Beds comfortable, rooms spacious but some would need a bit of maintenance, nothing serious though. If you like a nice and quiet hotel , this is for you. Plenty restaurants and tavernas in the vicinity, supermarket on the Main Street a hundred meters or so from the hotel.

The hotel was very cozy and well placed near the beach. The food is very tasty and varied. The parking is quite a problem but is a free parking nearby beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and brought so much joy in our staying. Nicoleta, Alina and Mario are such amazing people and so glad to see Romanian people. The entertaining evenings with live music and dance completed our nights in a lovely way. Thank you everyone for making my holiday even better. I really recommend this hotel. 🙌

Staff excellent nothing to much trouble. Mario and Nicole are very friendly and will help with anything. If you like hot food this is not the place for you. But staff make up for it . Very clean . Would we go again. Yes not for the food but for the staff.

The hotel staff are amazing and I do not say that often. It started when we arrived and Mario immediately came to welcome us and assisted us to reception. Nicoletta made everyone feel like VIP 's. She really did go above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy. We arrived for the Greek dancing and she immediately got to work to find us a table for 4. Each time we visited the bar, she remembered our drinks and how we liked them. All the staff were excellent, efficient, friendly and smiley. We did not have to wait for anything. Antonia and the rest of the waiting staff were so friendly and attended to our needs each morning and evening. They were so efficient and happy. I asked a couple of the staff if they were looked after by the hotel and they each said that they were treated really well. They all seemed to be happy with their jobs. Thank you to everyone.

Great hotel, room cleaned everyday, very good breakfast/dinner choice, always something to tempt you. The best thing about the hotel other than being 1 minute from the beach, were the staff, especially Nicole and Mario who together make this hotel what it is. So friendly, accommodating and such good fun and thank-you both for making our stay so memorable Our only downside was being half an hour walk from the Old Town but having said that it's only €1 on the bus or €6 in a cab.

Excellent location, delicious food and lots of varieties at breakfast and dinner, fantastic services, extremely friendly staff, always there to help, the rooms are super clean and nice, small pool but clean and the beach is very close too!

Welcoming and friendly staff, great cleaning service and nice athmosphere at the hotel! Breakfast was versatile and tasty. Lovely restaurants and cocktail bars near the hotel at the beach street. We would definitely come again! Thank you.

Together with my mother enjoyed our stay here. In real life the accommodation does look much better than in pictures. We only felt the cleaning did not equal 4*. For example stains on the balcony remained present all week, hairs remained in shower drain and we often picked up new towels ourselves (our room was regularly forgotten). Otherwise it was good: many thanks to the friendly staff, especially Georgia, Alina, Eleni, Nicoletta and bartender Mario. Also the food and the location of the accommodation was perfect!
