We had such a great team at this hotel. Room was so spacious (room 52) and nice, everybody who works here is kind and ready to respond on any kind of request. Very clean and the food is amaIng. We will be glad to come back again! Thank you hotel Swell boutique!

I visited Rethymnon and chose the hotel because of full seeview and good location (next to beach and near old town restaurants and shopping options). We found out several other reasons to choose it during our visit. Our room (with full seeview) was really comfortable with large, nicely tiled bathroom, roomy storage spaces and shadowy balcony. Even if it was on the second floor/ first above ground floor traffic noise didn’t disturbed at all. Breakfasts were versatile and good and highlighted with fresh orange juice every morning. I can only wonder where they had found so friendly and helpful receptionist. We got help with the room and baggases, good restaurant recommendations, later check-out and always greetings and couple of nice words. Ten point service!!!

Great hotel in front of the beach.Perfect position to walk to the old center of Rethymno. All the staff from the reception to the restaurant was exceptional, very professional and kind always with a smile. The food very good and the room with a sea view was lovely. We had a great time. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel! Very close to the beach! Stunning sea-view from the balcony! Everything is clean! Tasteful breakfast with sea-view. I think I have never eaten better breakfast in any hotel ever. Friendly staff. Strong recommendation to this hotel!

My family and I recently spent 12 days at Swell Boutique Hotel in Crete, and we had a great time. The hotel has a very modern feel, and we enjoyed the variety of breakfast options, especially the fresh orange juice. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and we appreciated the overall ambiance of the hotel. While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few areas where we thought the hotel could improve. We suggest that the hotel could benefit from an outdoor area where local musicians could perform and Cretan nights could be held. Additionally, the swimming pool didn't seem to be usefull at all, as it was only cleaned daily, never saw people using it. Finally, there were some issues with our bathroom, including problems with water control and loose/difficult to use bathtub switches. Despite these small issues, we had a lovely time at Swell Boutique Hotel and would recommend it to other families looking for a modern and welcoming hotel in Crete. Thank you for hospitality!

Breakfast buffet: 5/5 Small but nice. All the food at the breakfast buffet was freshly prepared. There was also a large selection. There was fresh organic juice every morning and omlettes prepared on request with various side dishes added to the omlettes. The dessert buffet was very good, all good food. Room: 6/5 Absolutely great. Super room, super toilet, beautiful sea view. We booked the last room. It was with city view. We received a free room upgrade. We got two rooms, one bedroom and a separate living room with sofa, lounge table and sea view. Absolutely great :)) Gym: 4/5 The gym was very good for me. Good equipment. Lots of dumbbells that you can put weights on yourself. The climate in the gym was also absolutely great. Service: 6/5 I would like to emphasise the reception. He always took very good care of us and explained the region very well with helpful restaurant and shopping tips. Everyone was always super friendly from the cleaning staff to the service staff and the reception. Wifi: 6/5 The wifi was absolutely the best I have ever had in a hotel. Each room has its own access point. Parking situation: 2.5 / 5 Parking situation in general in Rethymno. There is a lot of parking at the hotel, but also a lot of cars. We always had to look for parking spaces which are often not close to the hotel.

Just spent a week with the great friendly professional team at this hotel. Lovely charming welcome from Yannis upon arrival with a drink and snacks and fresh fruit platter delivered to our room. Our request for a high up room with sea/beach views was delivered, stunning view of the beach and old town with sunsets from the balcony to die for. Room was set over two floors with fridge,hairdryer, 2 tvs, a bathroom, complimentary toiletries , spa bath/shower on each floor with aircon over 2 floors . Bed was super comfy , room were spotlessly clean and the domestic team were lovely, warm and so pleasant as were all the staff. Breakfast was took on the terraced dining area overlooking the road and beachfront, plentiful choice for everyone hot buffet , cereals, fruit etc etc - again the staff were warm friendly and helpful and professional- chef was wonderful too with an open kitchen on view and freshomelettes to die for. The hotel is spotlessly clean with a small pool with bar area which gets the sun in the afternoon . We chose to visit the beach which is right in front of the hotel and daytime drinks and food was served from the hotel. The beach beds and parasol cost £7 euro a day , snacks and drinks were very reasonably priced . The hotel is a 20-25 minute stroll along the promenade into the centre of Rethymnon we’re the Venetian port area is located and beautiful old town which is a maze of stunning architecture and beautiful restaurants and boutique hotels. We ate out numerous times and quality of food was high and prices very reasonable. There’s lots to do , places of interest and a strip of bars for the younger clientele but always the warmth of the Cretans and stunning buildings and tons of history to enjoy. Overall 10 out of 10 holiday in this stunning town - we will be back and base ourselves in this hotel as for us it was ideal. Yamas…… to the next time

It could be already 6th stay, but for last year's travelling limitations, so I had to reschedule for this year. Each time I come to the Swell Boutique, I have a feeling of coming home and seeing my friends and almost relatives - the hotel team seems to be a family, they are so friendly! Of course, the service is worth every euro paid, as well as the hotel location and equipment. As I stayed here year after year, I could see some improvements in the building every time: one year they rearranged the second floor into Executive suite with their own sauna snd swimming pool, the other year they added a spa in the basement next to the gym. Then I saw shades added on the top floor room balcony, so that you can comfortably sit there when midday sun is shining on the balcony. Each time these improvements are well designed and adding more to the hotel guests' comfort, which is the top priority with the hotel team. Hotel restaurant team are as friendly as the hotel team are. The food quality is top level, with fresh organic farming products delivered from the farm regularly, so the guests can have the best and freshest food grown in absolutely clean natural environment, same as it was done in Cretan farms for centuries. This food and Mediterranean cuisine are part of the reason why I come to stay at this hotel for years, knowing I would have the warmest welcome and best comfort I could have.I brought several friends in the previous years, and they all fell in love with this hotel and its team, and each of them already came here at least twice, bringing their families! I think that speaks for itself, no additional words needed. I would recommend everyone to book this hotel and have a great stay!

Netter Service. Manager spricht deutsch, für alle die der Englischen Sprachen nicht mächtig sind. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, soll aber wohl über den Winter renoviert werden. Für uns perfekte Lage ca. 1000 m bis zur Altstadt und alles was man sonst so braucht ist direkt um die Ecke. Einmal über die Straße befindet sich der Sandstrand. Kostenpflichtige Liegen und Sonnenschirm (10€). Wir sind zum 2. mal hier abgestiegen und das allein sagt ja, dass wir auch im Jahr davor sehr zufrieden waren. Das Hotel ist eher klein und gemütlich und dadurch ist es auch so ein bisschen familiärer als die großen Anlagen und das ist auch gut so. Wenn wir wieder nach Kreta kommen, dann hierher!
