Such exceptional kind & helpful people. I would like to transport this hotel to every location I want to visit.Love you guys. From rooms to breakfast everything was perfect. Never seen so much choice at breakfast amazing arrangement & also wonderful choice of coffee.

We visited this resort at the end of May.The hotel was pleasent, friendly and within easy reach of amenities as well as in the Island. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and resourceful. They were always ready to help, smiling, and addressing any issues. The rooms were cleaned every day. Resort had an outdoor pool with a bar as well as an indoor pool (smaller version). The best part of our experience was the breakfast bar, very friendly staff. The choices were good with cooked breakfast, cold meter, salads, fresh bread, local greek salad and fruits, fresh juices. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Also the reception was manned 24 hours with very friendly staff. A clean hotel and good value. We will visit the hotel again sometime in the future.

The breakfast buffet offers both regional and international dishes, allowing guests to try some of Crete's culinary specialties. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool and elevator are pleasant and useful amenities. The location is perfect—just close enough to the old town to make for a nice walk, but far enough to sleep comfortably, undisturbed by the bustling nightlife of the beautiful Rethymno. The staff is what makes Melrose Hotel Rethymno exceptional. Everyone on the staff was remarkably polite, helpful, and understanding during our stay. Not only were they professional, but also cheerful and genuinely kind. We would like to especially thank Chrissy and Maria for their help, great travel tips for exploring the island, and their demeanor, from which even the most luxurious hotels could learn.

Top noche; clean, friendly, absolutely trustable, wonderful breakfast, 100% serviceminded, 100%, helpful, compasionate - all staff were amazing! Everything weasked about was taken serioulsy care of and the staff did not know what good they could do.

+ Friendly staff, generally good level of service in all areas + Cleanliness of room, common areas and restaurant + Decent selection of food (breakfast and dinner in the Theartemis), no stomach issues + Room made in good time, quite early in the day + Location a short walk to the Old Town and only a block away from the sea + Good for couples, who don't want animations and evening entertainment - The area around the hotel is generally noisy, which is an issue at night and early morning. In our north facing room we had problems with the scooter rental place on the other side of the street, rowdy people outside and people partying loudly on the balcony of opposite hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel, but contributed a lot to the experience. - The hotel walls are thin, so TV heard from next room where the TV was hung on the wall opposite our bed - Dinner served in a different hotel, which can be an issue if the weather is not so great - Information provided on official taxi fares by the front-desk person was misleading (worth reading up on this before you go) - Rethymno generally noisy with lots of traffic, even at low season in mid-May

My wife and I stayed at the Melrose hotel from 11 – 18 may 2024. A beautiful and very clean hotel. We started every day with the kindness and the smile of the very kind personnel which made our days start perfectly. This includes the servants as well the personnel for the cleaning services and reception. This was our first visit to Creta. A very beautiful island. Everyone who’s considering a trip to Creta should go to the nice old city of Hieronymus and stay at this hotel with a lot of comfort and kindness. Mr and Mrs van Hoof - Holland

We had a fantastic time at this great hotel. The breakfast was far above average with a great range of fresh products both warm and cold. The rooms were very clean and modern and every day the housekeeping made sure the room was in perfect condition including daily fresh bedlinnen. The food in the restaurant was also really good but what stood out the most was the service and the kindheartedness of the personnel. Breakfast-team outstanding and reception-team as well. Rooms clean , modern and the size is o.k. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom spacious with a modern shower cabin. Located in the second row ( relativly quiet) to the promenade/beach, not far from the harbour/ old town. Would we book their again? Absolutely yes

Everything was almost perfect. The room was very clean and did everything you could wish for. The staff have always been very helpful. Breakfasts are also very good, you can find something for yourself. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed.
