Tower Apartments

Appartment is big,modern,double bed,2 singles and sofa bed,2 bathrooms with showers,large windows over seeing office block,dishwasher,washing machine and dryer,10/15 mins into town,plenty restaurants/cafes near,bus stops near,not noisy,but were out all days until the evening,wifi difficult but contacted owner who sorted it.

Stayed here two nights at the beginning of July with my family. Very good value for the money. Large apartment. The main living room had a pull out sofa where my kids slept, and large windows looking out to the street. The main bedroom was roomy and comfortable, with lots of storage for clothes/belongings. A small galley style kitchen was closest to the main entry/exit door. The apartments also have an attached balcony. The location was good, slightly outside of the main downtown area, about 5-10 minute walk into the busiest parts of town. The only downside to the apartment is that directly below the location, there is a playground where school kids/daycare comes in the morning, and may disurpt your sleep (lol). The bathroom was very nicely finished, and had a combination washer/drying machine for clothes, which was rare in Iceland.

From the appearance the hotel was nice and is a great location but there are many disappointments from there. The communication is terrible and no one replied back to our messages. Both bathroom showers were clogged so you had a flood in the bathroom when showering, the coffee maker didn’t work, and the stove top had only one functioning burner. While the hotel offered extra amenities it really didn’t since things weren’t working. I expected more for paying 400$ a day. When speaking to *********** their resolution was to give you 50$ credit. That is an insult.
