We have just returned from a 7-night stay at this brilliant resort. Our daughter has a cow's milk allergy which we have had to be extremely cautious of in general since she was a few months old, especially so when travelling abroad. Before travelling, we contacted the food and beverages manager, Rafael, who completely put us at ease with any concerns we had with allergens and cross-contamination risks. He informed us that there was also a dedicated allergies manager at the resort, Jessie, who we could also liaise with for any special requests or concerns. During our stay, Rafael, Jessie and the entire staff went out of their way to prepare a variety of dairy-free meals that our daughter thoroughly enjoyed which was a huge relief for us and meant that we could relax and enjoy our stay to the fullest. This is before even mentioning how stunning the hotel itself is, with the beautiful reception area, variety of pools (including kids pools), bars, restaurants, gym and the variety of delicious food options at the buffet. There is also access to a small stretch of sandy beach via steps and a path. The only downside of our stay was our dinner at the Asian restaurant which was a bit disappointing. The starters i.e. dim sum/sushi were decent but the mains we ordered (duck and chicken katsu) were dry and not pleasurable to consume. We were also expecting a chicken katsu curry but were presented with a katsu sandwich which was surprising, to say the least. If the restaurant added traditional Asian dishes to the menu and specified what was being served with more clarity, it could definitely improve as the restaurant's beautiful setting and ambience deserve better. Despite that annoyance, this resort is certainly 5-star in all other aspects and we can't recommend it highly enough.
