Marathon Hotel - All Inclusive

The hotel and staff exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were modern and impeccably clean. The crew was attentive and friendly, ensuring every need was met, while the ambiance offered a peaceful and relaxing environment. Whether dining at the hotel's restaurant or enjoying the amenities, everything felt curated for comfort and convenience. As a solo traveler, I felt both safe and well-cared-for throughout my stay. I highly recommend the Marathon Hotel for anyone seeking a rejuvenating getaway.

Nice hotel, delicious all inclusive. The choice of food was sufficient, they offered meat every day in different ways. For dinner, for example, there was an Asian evening, where sushi, noodles, rolls, etc. were on offer. The Greek specialties were excellent, as well as pork ribs, veal, grilled turkey... the drinks were also very good (offered from 18:30 to 23:00 for free). Food was available almost all day - after lunch there was excellent pizza and in the evening after dinner you could have gyros. We arrived at half past eleven in the evening and were able to have gyros as part of the all inclusive. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom, the toilet is hard to fit. But everything is cleaned. There is one animator at the hotel who is friendly, there was an entertainment program every day. In the evening, for example, there was a competition and I won a T-shirt, it was fun. The location is ideal for trips, the bus stop is approx. 100 meters from the hotel, you can ask for the timetable at the reception. We visited Tsambika beach, Lindos and Rhodes town by bus. I especially recommend Lindos, the views are beautiful.

Travelled with my Mrs and our baby daughter. Room was cleaned everyday so no complaints there . Standard food options for an all inclusive although the pizza round the pool bar was decent . Staff were friendly throughout the day. evening bar staff need some customer service training forgot to order my Mr’s a drink and his face and reaction was not that pleasant huffing and puffing etc shouting I need to tell him full order etc … Only wanted a fanta . Location is ideal if you wanna go into Kolympia few restaurants & bars etc Bus stop just outside to venture out . All in all was decent trip 4/5

After having our bookings changed at another hotel which all became a disaster I found this gem after desperately walking around the town - the manager was so helpful the staff all had smiles on their faces - food was hot and tasty - rooms were cleaned every day and spotless - nothing was too much trouble - it was completely understood that we were on holiday and they wanted it to be a good experience for the guests - there was the towel thing going on as all hotels now - can put your towels down after 7 am which most people did - I dislike that but it had to be done - a lot of Germans Russian and Polish in the hotel when we were there - The only down I could think of although it did not bother me -, is if you have young children the music-entertainment around the pool, goes on till 11.30 pm - just be careful of the navy blue tiles around the pool they can get slippy -

Just back this morning and we were very sad to leave. The hotel is very well kept, with a lovely atmosphere. Rooms - ours was kept spotless, minor issues dealt with very speedily. Comfortable beds. Food - never had a bad meal, great variety, lovely fresh salads and good quality meat. Friendly, funny chef makes the experience even more enjoyable. Pizza by the pool by day is great and gyros in the evening delicious. Drinks - I'm fussy with wine, but no complaints. Hubby said the beer was good too. Cocktails - decent variety, very nice. It's true they aren't served (or spirits) until 6.30pm but this didn't bother us as we aren't day drinkers, but it did mean there were less drunk people during the day than we've seen at other resorts. Location - we have visited Kolymbia for over ten years now. Lovely little resort, not too rowdy. Hotel is perfectly located right on the main street (Eucalyptus St) but no disruption from noise in the evenings at all. Everything you need is in walking distance. Entertainment - there's something every evening to keep you occupied, good fun activities such as bingo, Karaoke and quizzes as well as a Greek night and live music a couple of times a week. During the day there's aqua fit and volley ball etc. Animation guy is friendly and fun. Staff - this is really makes the hotel and the holiday so enjoyable. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, whilst working extremely hard to ensure that the guests enjoy their stay. Manager Vasilis is very present and oversees everything really well. Special thanks to Agi on reception and Asteris in the bar for making us feel so welcome and at home. In summary, we have previously spent 3x as much on 5 star hotels in the same resort and enjoyed our time at Marathon more. There is so much attention to detail from the staff, we found the food of better quality here, and a much more personal approach. All in all, a wonderful holiday that we will definitely be repeating, without any hesitation.

Staying at Hotel Marathon in the seaside resort village of Kolymbia in Rhodes Greece is like staying with family! The staff are all welcoming, friendly and helpful! They really demonstrate the generous Greek hospitality! No trip to Greece is complete without eating delicious fresh local Greek food! The Hotel has a delicious variety of Greek and family favourites! Also Jiannis the amazing ‘Pizza Man’ hand-makes each pizza including the dough and pizza sauces! Sooo delicious, arguably the best on the island! The private pool rooms are highly recommended, so peaceful and relaxing!!! My favourite hotel in Rhodes!!! 💙🤍🇬🇷

What can I say, I have done a lot of Greek all inclusive holidays and this by far the best, Drinks have proper alcohol in then and the food was amazing, great entertainment at night and the staff were the best hardworking people I have come across. Wish u could go again this year.

Just home from another fantastic stay here. Loved everything. Shared pool is amazing. Food and drinks are great, especially the pizza & cocktails. Special thanks to Agi on reception who was always welcoming & happy to help us. Lovely lady, a credit to the Hotel. Will definitely be back.
