I have just returned from a last-minute week holiday at this hotel. It is definitely not a three-star hotel and have had a disappointing week away. I will start with the good points of the hotel and work from there. • The hotel is set in lush green, lovely surroundings, which include lots of grass and very green trees, which give cover to the sound of summer (if you know, you know). There was a good amount of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. also plenty of shaded areas not far from the pool. • The hotel is conveniently located very close to the bus stop which goes both ways to Rhodes and Lindos, which are both lovely places to visit. • It is also close to a very long stretch of pebbly beach which is both safe/clean beach with some areas that have paid for sunbeds and umbrellas. • The fridge in the room (which also had a small freezer) was a welcomed addition to keep bottles of water and ice cubes to help stay hydrated during the Cerberus heatwave. • The day-time reception staff had the nicest smile which was welcoming on arrival. Now to the mediocre parts of the holiday. • While the food was edible but, there was not much variety and was catered more for an eastern Europe palate, and the flies were plentiful. I would however like to give a big shout out to the pancake lady, your pancakes are fresh and amazing! Equally, food is only allowed in the restaurant and a member of staff is on the door stopping people from leaving as they are eating apples or similar. This is a ridiculous rule, which puts staff under a lot of pressure. • Disappointingly, we were only allowed to have 1 key for the room, which is apparently company policy, this often made it difficult to do things independently and be able to get into the room at the end of it. Personally, I think this is to stop the key being used to keep both the air conditioning and the electric on whilst not in the room. • To mention electric, there is only one usable plug in the room and that was no where near the bed. To make more plug space the T.V had to be unplugged. This is not great in an age when most people have several electrical items to charge. • The accommodation was small and dated. The bed was only about 5’10” so if you were taller than this your feet would hang over the end. Luckily we did not have the need to use the pull-out sofa bed, which was uncomfortable to sit on, so would imagine it would be terrible to sleep on. • There was only one glass for use in the bathroom. There was no other in the room and so had to drink out of bottles, until we took plastic cups from the bar area. This is the part that I am disappointed to be writing. • The house keeping was diabolical as you can see from the photos the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The second pillows which were kept in the wardrobe did not have cases on and at no point during the week were cases for these given. The bin was emptied only twice during the week and once a clean top sheet was given. • The bath was very smal
