Villaggio Baia d'Ercole

We were staying here on October 2021 with my family and the experience was honestly the most awful vacay experience we've ever had. Food was not good and the location was very bad, but this one incident made us very uncomfortable. Last day of our vacay I saw from the pool, that the door of our room was open. I walked to the room to see what's going on, and there was a old man holding my wallet. He was "repairing" toilet even tho it wasn't broken. He freaked out and shouted to italian that the wallet was on the floor. (It wasn't it was in my purse) We tried to sort this out with the front desk, but they were super weird about the whole incident. Also, talked very badly about us in italian because they didn't know my mom actually understands italian. Later that evening this old couple came to us, and ask if we were the ones who had someone random going thru our belongings. They told us there was 100e missing from their room. So something very shady was clearly going on with this place. Did not feel safe at all. Had to search this hotel again after all this years, and saw another review (italian) about same kinda experience that we had, so decided to let y'all know.

First time in Italy with the family on vacation. Capo Vaticano is a picturesque area with lively sandy beaches. The hotel is perfectly placed on the beach and has all the amenities you would wish for: two pools, access to the beach, great fresh food. The animation/entertainment team are truly wonderful. They are dedicated to making sure everyone has the best vacation possible. From morning stretching on the beach, to pool games, right through to the evening entertainment. They completed our vacation and I consider them as friends now. Highly recommended 😎

I really enjoyed my stay at Villagio Baia D´Ercole. It is an awsome location right by the sea. The rooms are super clean, the food is excellent and the animation program was the greatest. Well organized and entertaining! There was something for everyone - from kids to adults. From german songs to italian dances... and especially the aqua gym was fantastic! I´ve never seen bikes in the swimming pool (for aqua gym) - amazing... All the employees seem to be perfectly motivated. I am completely satisfied with the program and I´ll definitely book another stay there.

Amazing beachfront location, well kept beach and crystal clear sea. There are 2 nice and clean swimming pool. They also have a shuttle that brings you to Tropea. All the staff is really friendly, kind and professional. The restaurant is lovely with delicious local food, always fresh and the service is impeccable. Francesco, the restaurant chef made us feel at home all the time, taking care of every detail. Ideal village for families and couples, a place where you can really switch off and relax! Villaggio sul mare, spiaggia ben curata e mare cristallino. Dotato di 2 piscine molto pulite. Hanno anche un bus che ti porta a tropea. Il personale é molto cordiale e professionale, dalla reception, agli animatori, alla ristorazione. Il ristorante serve ottimo cibo locale, prodotti di qualita' e sempre freschi e il servizio é impeccabile. Francesco, lo chef ci ha fatto sentire a casa, curando ogni dettaglio. Ideale per vacanze in famiglia o per vivera una vacanza in totale relax!

The Villaggio Baia D’ercole is a nice place to spend a vacation with kids. Starting from its location on the beach, the availability of 2 pools, the amazing sunset panorama to the tasty local food buffet. Not to forget the animation staff one by one led by Mattia that are truly remarkable. Their commitment to providing outstanding service was evident in every interaction. From the kids’ activities and all day entertainment to the adults’ workouts and shows, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our (and our kids) needs were met. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer assistance with a genuine smile. In conclusion, despite the rooms that featured old furnishings, the overall experience was a testament to the exceptional service and ambiance that made our stay truly memorable.

Location is very good, beachfront and crystal clear sea. Two pools. Rooms are very clean, food is good, garden wonderfull, piecefull area. Shuttle from hotel to Tropea. I really enjoyed my holiday there.

The hotel is not very close to anything and walking outside the hotel I would not recommend. Roads are busy and steep hills. Nothing really around you. Rooms are very old and damp. Hotel music very loud until midnight at times. Pool and beach are adequate.

Abbiamo soggiornato in tre ad Aprile 2024, ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Villaggio molto bello direttamente sul mare, ricco di vegetazione, prati e piante ben tenute. Tutto il personale del villaggio, è stato professionale ed accogliente come pochi. La camera nuova è molto bella, colazione superlativa non mancava nulla...anzi. Vivamente consigliato.

Struttura fronte mare, 2 piscine ma con animazione approssimativa. Il disagio maggiore è dato dalla posizione degli ombrelloni ammassati gli uni agli altri. Impossibile passare tra le file senza entrare in conttato con chi vorrebbe godersi riposo e relax. La direzione ha promesso di rimodulare la disposizione, fattobsta che domani finisce il nostro soggiorno e nulla è cambiato. Unica alternativa è prendere lanprima e seconda fila che però hanno un costo aggiuntivo di 10 euro... Assurdo!
