The hotel is in a great location, right near the Sendai JR Station, surrounded by business districts, large lofts, parcos, and it is also very convenient to take the loop bus to visit attractions. The room is just too small, and it is a bit difficult to unpack. The room at the Garden Hotel I stayed at the night before was super big, so I was a little disappointed. The facilities are a bit old, but after all, it is cheap, 500 a night, which is a good value for money!

However, the service and ideas made up for the negative aspects, and after staying at the hotel, I felt that it was a great hotel. I would also like to stay at another Dormy Inn. Dormy Inn, which is close to the station, has a paid parking lot, but this one, which is far from the station, has free parking. There are some hotels that charge a fee even though they are far from the station, and I don't stay at those hotels (lol).They don't seem to be trying to provide service that is up to date with the times. For breakfast, there were signs introducing Sendai's specialties, so it was easy to understand and I enjoyed the meal. I also like the taste. Some people said it had a strong flavor, but I think the real pleasure of traveling is enjoying the seasonings tailored to the region. Unfortunately, Sasakama was out of stock 30 minutes after breakfast started. I bought some at the station, but I think it would have been better if I had eaten it for breakfast instead of eating it straight out of the bag. The Yonaki Ramen served in the evening was a simple soy sauce ramen that was delicious. It's exciting to eat together at night.

The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Sendai Station, and there is a convenience store two steps away. Walk a little further to JR Aoba-dori Station. If you want to go to Matsushima, this is the starting station with a seat. And there is a beef tongue chain store Zenjiro 5-10 minutes away. The queue is definitely less than Sendai Station and the station front store! It is also close to the pedestrian street Ichibancho and Nagakecho. It is certain that Japanese hotel rooms are small, and it is difficult for two people to sleep on such a small bed. I don't know why, the floor I stayed in smelled a lot of gasoline. The sound insulation in the room is not good, and I can hear people talking in the corridor. The hotel is standard and the price-performance ratio is still good. One thing to mention is that you have to leave the key at the front desk when you leave the hotel, which is a bit strange, and there will be no identity confirmation when you come back to get the key.

The hotel is a kind of 2/3 star Ryokan, the owners are very kind, especially the lady running the hotel, she found somebody to take my luggage upstairs and back down when I was leaving. In fact the elevator is not in use.... BFast was not included in my plan, so I paid extra ,just a few hundred yens , I tried the japanese and the western BFast, both were average . The Ryokan is not new , but rooms are very spacious and they ressemblent more to a japanese flat, comparing with the surface of other hotels' rooms I had in Japan. The room was spotless .. There is also a hot bath at 3rd floor, where I went 2 times, smal but pleasant, I was the only user, at those times. I also had dinner at the hotel, in a nice Japanese style dining room ( where I had BF too ...), the menu is Korean , and had for the first time fried oysters from Matsushima bay.... The room was very quiet at night and I liked this japanese style type of rooms, I think I' d go there again , they also have a good quality/ price rate ...

Hotel Keihan Sendai has just opened. I was able to stay at a low price with the combination of Jalan's special opening plan and GOTO. I visited by private car, but there is a parking lot (Hot House Aoba-dori Daiichi Parking) in the basement. 1500 yen per night. Directly connected by elevator. Convenient. The location is next to the 77 Bank head office along Aoba-dori. Check-in is done by yourself on the touch panel and payment is made at the check-in machine. In addition to cash, credit card payment is possible. The room is a single room on the 9th floor. I was able to see Aoba-dori from the window in the corner room. The equipment is also new. The temperature of the lighting and air conditioner can be adjusted in 0.5 degree increments with the tablet at the bedside. The TV is a 43-inch made by Panasonic. You can also see mirroring of smartphones and YouTube. The unit bath is reasonably large. There is a lounge and Starbucks coffee machine on the 2nd floor, which you can get for free. (The next time I stay, I will have breakfast.) When I go to Sendai, the number of hotels I want to use again has increased.

It is good as the starting point of Shiogama sightseeing because it is immediately after leaving the station and crossing the signal. The facilities are simple, but I don't feel particularly inconvenient. It is a good hotel with a cospa. There is also a convenience store nearby and a famous shop of specialty cherry blossoms is lined up. This time I used sushi Tetsu. The material was fresh and very delicious, but the price is a little tight. . .
