This is an older hotel that is well maintained. lacted in a rural area. Need to get around by car or bicycle

First of all important to say that we had booked a suite with a balcony. The room seemed to have been recently renovated and, except for the bed, was very comfortable with a living and a sleeping section. The reason for not giving 4 stars has to do with cleanliness. It was obvious that the cleaning staff had not even looked at the balcony for months. The chairs, table (bird dropping!), railing had not been cleaned in a long time. What should have been an asset turned out to be a disappoin**ent. The terrace, which is truly a wonderful and peaceful place for meals also needed a mopping. A 4 star hotel would also have provided real cups and glasses rather the paper ones. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the service is good as are the meals. If only more attention was given to cleanliness / hygiene.

Hotel has a nice location in the middle of the woods close to Rijssen in Overijsel. The hotel itself is very convenient and breaths a very cosy and relaxed a**osphere. I do like special lightning in the hallways leading to the rooms. The room isself was quite large and had everyting in it. The beds are OK but a bit low to the ground for us as on older couple. I love the terras which provides a view of the surrounding woods. The breakfast: just OK with continental features

The rooms need an upgrade, carpet is dirty and walls need paint. You can hear your neighbors. I reported an incident with unfriendly staff at the breakfast buffet. The manager handled it professionally but it left us with a bad experience, we checked out early and we won't return.

While downstairs areas have clearly been renovated, and the restaurant was very nice, the hotel room is really dated. Sink was clogged and mattress was too soft for my taste.

Nice stay very quiet and you definitely need a car it’s really isolated in the middle of the forest. The staff was ok but should smile a bit more. Nice for older couples. The rooms smell a little bit old, felt like they need to be more ventilated.

Upon check in the registrationform was presented with persoal data of my parents!(gdpr!) We proceeded after having corrected the personal data to room 203 where the door was not locked and room was not cleaned yet. I asked for another room as we had to change for a concert. Although they mentioned the hotel was fully occupied we got another room. This room was ok but no towels, we requested these.
