Residence Inn Rochester Mayo Clinic Area

The room was set up very nicely with plenty of room. It was very nice being able to sit in a living area instead of on the bed all the time. It was also great having a fridge in the room. The bed was a little hard for me and thought could be a little softer. The room would have been nice to have a clock on the wall for reference. The staff through the whole hotel was always very very friendly and accommodate d all our needs. The breakfast each morning was great with a great variety of food. The front desk lady Ashley M was very helpful in making extended days to our reservation. Would highly recommend this place to anyone as a 5 star hotel.

I chose this hotel for the proximity to Mayo Clinic and convenience to walk back and forth for work meetings. From the moment I called and spoke with Andrew for my first reservation, it was evident that Andrew really cared about Mayo patients and family. And that care just continued on throughout my very long stay. We arrived to Ashleys warm welcome and seamless check in. There is not a person that walks by that front desk that isn't always greeted! They take time to ask and listen. Our first stay was planned and an emergency brought me quickly back for an extended stay, with many unknown and changing timelines. There was never a thought to go to a different hotel. During a very high stress time it was so welcoming to start my day and come back every night to a truly caring group of people! Ashley, Andrew, Calvin, and Filly, THANK YOU! I started each day with smiles and chats with Cheryl and Clay. Thanks to Cheryl, the breakfasts are hot and fresh and made with pride. To the entire team, your responsiveness, friendliness, accommodations and your true passion for people makes a difference! See you next time!

My wife and I had to spend five weeks in Rochester. This was a trying time for us. Ashley M. was wonderful. Along with the staff, they made a rough time bearable. The hotel is right at the walkable subway which come in very handy for a wheel chair. I have never wrote a review before.

The hotel was very well cleaned and the staff was phenomenal. The only issue we had was a power outage for about 3 hours which was no fault of the hotel. It was a construction outage. This is a place that we would definitely stay again. I am sure they get many patients from Mayo and they treat them very well.

The service was excellent. Guest satisfaction was beyond my expectations. All staff was very friendly, and cordial throughout my entire stay. I would highly recommend this hotel. Shoutout to Ashley M at the front desk who is to be commended for a job well done!! Thank you Residence Inn, I will be back again!

I want to acknowledge two amazing employees that work at this location. Although everyone we encounter here has been wonderful, there are two that really stand out. Danielle and Andrew. I receive weekly treatment at Mayo Clinic and use this location often. They know when I check in with my wife, that I need extra pillows, because of my health condition, and always have them ready or already in the room. Danielle was so kind to get my wife her favorite ice cream, when the hotel was out of it and we thought it was discontinued. It was such a kind gesture and she definitely went above and beyond! Please let these two know that although we are faced with a difficult journey, they make it just a little bit easier. Thank you! S. Patti
