Fairfield Inn & Suites Rome NY

The staff was horrible. They were not helpful at all and had no answers for anything. The rooms were terrible. The curtains were torn and had holes in them. There was no privacy in the room at all. And the girl at the desk had nothing to say about it. And was not willing to even look into changing the room for us. We were traveling with my 80 plus year old parents, after one of them just getting out of the hospital and they put us on 2 separate floors. There was stains on the sheets and pillow cases. The carpets were filthy. The bed frame stuck out so far beyond the mattress that you tripped over them or bruised your shins on them. There was no access to laundry soap or any thing else for that matter to do laundry. I was told that I could go out to one of the local grocery stores to get what I needed. With the road construction all around them it was difficult enough to find the place let alone go looking for a grocery store. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would drive another 50 miles to find something else.

Sad that we had to head to this area of New York for a family funeral. We chose this hotel as it had recently been converted from a previous brand. Room was clean and breakfast was decent. Staff very pleasant and the only thing was it was a little bit out of the way for our needs. Still think it's a great property and would recommend.

The check in was fast and easy. The hotel was clean and very eye pleasing. My room was spacious and very clean. The tv was 50 to 55 inches. The room was great. The pool was clean and nice! The gym was ample and clean. I am really enjoying my stay. Thank you for the breakfast as well

Room wasn't cleaned during the stay. No clean towels or washcloths provided. Only 1 person working the entire hotel. Second morning breakfast had items omitted that we had the first morning. They definitely need more staff or cleaning crew on weekends.

New Hotel Great Location very friendly staff, large rooms. Clean and very spacious rooms. Breakfast was one of the best offered by the Fairfield hotels. Coffee to die for, and always piping hot. Easy to access the freeways and get around the town, which is a pleasant experience.

I went to Rome to visit my sister and chose to stay at this newly renovated hotel. It looks beautiful and everything is brand new. I booked my reservation with Toni at the front desk. Being hard of hearing, she was super friendly and very patient with me. She was a pleasure to meet in person. Rita from the restaurant area, always had a smile on and kept the food area very clean and organized. The Continental breakfast was great! Everyone at the hotel was nice and friendly. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were nicely decorated as well. I will definitely go back to this hotel on my next trip to Rome. Thank you for everything!
