Casa Bella Pantheon

Hotel worked for easy access to Pantheon and other old city attractions. Reception seemed to be rarely present—no one was there at check in and the luggage storage option was a common space of several rooms with a code, which didn’t feel very secure. Water pressure was extremely low and rooms while clean need a deep scrub.

Hidden in the heart of historic Rome. Walk to all attractions from this spot. Staff great about setting up airport transfers. Many great restaurants nearby. Room very comfortable.

This is the biggest dump I’ve ever stayed in. Beyond disappointed with my families experience. Room was dirty, really weird smell to the room, hair found in towels, mold growing in bathroom, no toilet paper, no washcloths or any towels besides the 3 bath towels that were in our room when we arrived. Hardly any water pressure in a moldy dirty shower that had no warm water…..that’s correct, only cold water. There is no one here on site to assist or contact with problems. This place was a complete rip off. There are plenty other options with just as good of location. In the United States we call owners of building like this “slumlords.” Gouge you on the price, provide crap service, and don’t invest into the property to make it nicer and accommodating. Stay far away from this place. Also, writing this ahead for any stupid response from management. I’ve seen how they respond to others and it’s laughable. You are the problem.

Great location, rooms were as described. Easy check-in and check out procedures. Comfy beds and good space. We loved our stay at Casa Bella. Would recommend

Amazing location! Steps from the Pantheon, a quick walk to Trevi Fountain and 25 minutes to Coloseum. The staff was great, the apartment had a little fridge and cooktop and sink and there is a larger kitchen/seating area outside. They arranged transportation to the airport which was very helpful. We would stay there again.

Comfortable apartment just steps from dining options, coffee, and Gelato. A quick, easy walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Castel Sant Angelo. The streets are all so beautiful. We also walked to the Colosseum and Vatican, but those were a bit longer, maybe 20- 30 minutes. The rooms and beds were comfortable for our family of 5. We had some trouble navigating the doors ( the 2nd door either worked with the key or the code and we never knew what would work), but have learned the ancient doors of Italy can be tricky. The area was busy but not as much as the main tourist areas, so it was nice to come back to this area and have a bit more space away from the crowds. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

The hotel communicated with us very well. They even arranged a car service to the airport.

If location is important to you, then this is the hotel for you. But if you care more about safety and condition of the room, look somewhere else. We were given a room that was flooded before and part of the floor came out making it unsafe. We were not given any heads up before our arrival so it was too late to find another hotel in the area. We tripped several times and the bathroom door can't be closed because of the bulging floor. On the last night of our stay, part of the door frame fell and hit one of us on the head. I texted the person in charge and received no response at all. Also, the reception was only open till like 2pm, so you can't get any help after that. However, the reception staff was helpful and polite if you could catch him early enough. We have been to Italy 6 times before so are very experienced travelers. Therefore, we can handle many unexpected situations on our own. However, for someone less experienced or for families with small children or elderly, this situation could ruin your vacation. I do have to say the location of the hotel is very good, walking distance to all major attractions. But the condition of the room is unsafe and honestly shouldn't be rented out before the issues are fixed.

Central location. Spacious room for family of 5. Just 2 minutes walk to Pantheon and about 5 mins from Piazza Navona. Many eateries around. The downside is its a bit tricky to find the hotel due to no clear label or signboard. As it is a pedestrian area the driver could not enter the road so we were dropped nearby. Spent about 10 mins walking around with our luggages to find the hotel. In fact we were dropped very close to the hotel but we missed the very small hotel names at the door
