This year we have had the luxury of staying at some amazing properties: Le Sirenuse in Amalfi, the Post Ranch in Big Sur and the One and Only in Kigali, Rwanda. We ended our year of decadent travel at the Hassler.The Hassler ranks with the finest hotels in the world. The hotel has been redone in the rooms but the common areas retain all the old world charm that this hotel is known for. We stayed for two nights with our sons and their girlfriends. Each room was beautifully decorated, ample closet space and great bathrooms. The breakfast was what was to be expected, nothing extraordinary. Where this hotel excels and exceeds expectations is the staff. Everyone we interacted with treated us like we were long last friends. The reception staff of Roberto, Giorgio and Valentina took marvelous care of us. The location is unbeatable. Just a terrific experience! Congratulations to the Wirth family for creating this incredible property and hiring this wonderful group of people.

An icon at the top of the Spanish Steps! If you’re looking for a romantic getaway that makes you feel like a luxurious Roman aristocrat - don’t look further than the Hassler. It’s so popular with locals and guests alike for good reason - the property is gorgeous, they have hospitality down to a science, the terrace is iconic and the food/drinks are fabulous. My husband and I got upgraded upon arrival (a perk of Leaders Club, the loyalty program of Leading Hotels of The World of which this hotel is a member) and spent two nights here exploring. You’re in the middle of it all, but honestly it felt like we were in a tucked away private luxury apartment. Breakfast was a MUST DO as were drinks at the terrace. When the hotel is Famous, the reasons are numerous… her Beauty, her Luxurious Decor, her location, her views, her cuisine but most importantly… her staff. We fell in love with the staff, the door men were the sweetest kindest smiling and helpful souls, the concierges were so helpful and thorough, they are highly respected in Rome and can get things done for guests. The front desk staff like Mr Giorgio and Orsini and all the team were unbelievably gracious kind and professional, Giorgio went out of his way to make the trip Spectacular and I’ll never forget the smile he put on my wife’s face as he showed us our room with phenomenal views from our huge balcony❤️. This hotel is the most Famous in Rome because of the staff and the beauty, her history requires a look and you’ll see her history and Grandeur unfold before your eyes. We miss them, we love them and we shall see them again soon❤️🙏😇🇮🇹🌍🚁🎁🛩️🏛️

This was out 6th or 7th stay at the Hassler and , in a city with many great hotels, we would not consider staying anywhere else. First of all location, location, location! Look at a map of Rome if you are not familiar with the centrality of this property. Cleanliness, safely, refinement and relaxation abound. It's an island of calm in a frenetic city. On two occasions, including this one, major Hollywood stars were staying here at the same time as we. Did we ever fell second best or relegated to a tier of less importance. Absolutely not. They treat all of their guests like stars. We love the Palm Court for all meals or an after dinner Amero. The 7th floor Terrace overlooking Rome never gets old-especially at night. Small but fine exercise room again with a great view. The hassler is one of very few hotels that is still privately owned. Mr. Roberto Wirth is omnipresent , making certain that his guests are being treated with the kindness and respect that he feels that they deserve. The bell staff is great and ALWAYS deliver a polite buongiorno or buonasera when one goes in or out. Truly, it is the little things like this that impress. These great people make HH a destination in and of itself. We look forward to our next visit.

Most beautiful, elegant, old world style with impeccable service to match. Cannot say enough about this place and the attention to details the staff exhibits. Always greeted by name; all requests accommodated with a smile & never once see the “workings” of the hotel - I don’t know how the do it! Expensive, but true 5 star experience.
