Tritone 125

I had to leave the hotel 4hours after checking in as I have complained about the terrible bed settings they had and the manager end up putting me though a disturbing emotional ordeal… The fact is they sold as room with a king bed but it actually had two horrible single beds put together, which was extremely uncomfortable and made a whole in the middle making impossible to sleep. The person who I spoke to, Paola, was very rude when I asked her what could be done cs was not humanly possible to sleep there, stating there was nothing it could be done as this is the bed the setting. I then told her they needed to change either the bed or room, so a minimum confort requirement, as sleeping well, was met. She then started replying things like that people don’t have where to sleep and we were arguing about bed size, among other insults like I was blackmailing her when I told her that either she finds a solution or I would check out which was my right. She even went to say that I should not be complaining about the confort of the bed cs I didn’t sleep on it yet! I was sick that they and spend the afternoon in bed so that’s when I started to really doubting about them them being in the hospitality business. I was so emotionally distressed (and also sick that day) with her agressive behavior that I felt for my safety so I had to rush out from there without spending any night at Tritone. I have gone through a lot of distress missing out a tour and dinner paid for to find a last minute accommodation in a very busy period in Rome. She hasn’t refunded me, as you would expect from someone who advertises one thing in Booking but actually sells a nightmare. The last notes are about the umberrable noise coming from the busiest avenue in the neighborhood as they have the original windows w/ absolute no noice cancelling, the aircon that made a loud noise and the “lobby” where entrance of rooms are which display their lack of care with left over materials from a renovation… If u want a suggestion stay at Room Mate Philippo, almost same location, where rooms are amazing, on a quite street and more importantly, there you are treated as a human being and not as a 100 euro bill… @Paola, I know you are going to read this and come back with some ranting reply but I’ve been in Italy for a month now and has had wonderful experiences and never in 7 years of using booking have disputed a payment for an accommodation. So keep the $829 I paid for because you may need much more than I do…

The property was on the 5th floor. While checking in and out of the property the elevator was not working. We had to carry all our luggage 5 floors up and down. The a/c was not working properly, it was very hot inside the room.

Great hotel room! Perfect location to everything. We walked everywhere or jumped on the tube. Paola is amazing. She is helpful and kind. We recommend staying here. We had red room and it was so fun! Amazing bathroom and balcony!!!

All fine except de shower that have a problem with the hot water (low pressure). The air conditioner works fine but no excelent.

The place was very clean, central and the communication was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

This was a very good value property in an excellent location. It was totally self check in and there was a very nice selection of pastries, salami,cheese and yogurt with coffees and tea within the room for breakfast. The shower was excellent and the room was spacious with a little balcony. Some of the drawbacks were that the noise level was still really high even four floors up, we had to carry around a key ring with six different keys on it, and while the manager was very helpful in terms of getting us a taxi and answering questions, the payment situation made us very uncomfortable. We were supposed to pay at the property, but there was no one in the little area with the desk when we arrived. And then the next day the property manager said he had stopped by at 8:30 am to get payment but we were not there. We had no idea that he was coming by (we had an early Vatican tour) and we thought it strange that we did not even know that he was going to show up at the doorstep expecting payment. In the end he wanted a bank transfer (?) but instead worked out something with the owner for a PayPal payment. Very strange! We travel three or four months a year, staying in all kinds of different accommodations, and have never had a situation like this arise.

The location Was great, and check-in was easy and accommodating. nice room & comfortable beds. our package supposes to include breakfast & when I contacted the property people, I was told breakfast was not included in the package. selecting a hotel with included breakfast was a must for us, unfortunatly that was the only drawback, we wasted a lot of time going out and looking for breakfast.

A very comfortable small studio. Clean, lots of floorspace and very comfortsble beds for all three of us! Also close to Metro, busses and taxi.

Our stay at Tritone125 was excellent. The location is fantastic, many of the sights in Rome are within walking distance, and the metro is only a couple of minutes walk if you’re wanting to venture a little further or use to get to and from the airport. The room is a great size and the bathroom was amazing. Pierpaolo was a fantastic host, very friendly and always available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.
