The room was clean and looked nice, there’s a spacious closet to hang up your clothes. Iron available upon request. Location isn’t that central, it’s close to colosseum all the other tourist attraction were +/- 30 min walk.

Great location - we walked loads during our stay, and The Major was a handy base. Masa restaurant was fantastic: really pleased I booked it for our first night. Very high quality dishes, and an obliging chef who prepared some great vegan plates.
Hotel itself was spotless, and the staff professional at all times. A little noisy, being on a busy traffic street, but the bed and bathroom in the superior room was great...so all in all, very happy.

My daughter and I stayed at The Major for our 3 nights in Rome and found it to be clean, comfy, and the staff very friendly and helpful! They even left a note for us on our arrival and a wonderful gift with a note on the night of my birthday! The room was clean and comfortably furnished with plenty of space for all of our luggage. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the main attractions or the Metro which can get you to the attractions that are a little farther away! We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came around!

Everything about this hotel is excellent, starting with the staff, very nice and helpful. The dinning at the rooftop top notch, and the room very clean and confortable. Highly recommended.

The location is not so nice, quite dirty around the area.
We were expecting a better experience overall. The smell of the hotel is not good .
The rooms are OK and confortable.
The staff in the restaurant downstairs quite un friendly but this is an overall italian way of treating tourists.

The hotel is clean and staff are very responsive and attentive however the bed was not very comfortable.
There was also only 2 espressos included in the room for a 5 day stay.
