Had a wonderful stay. Delicious breakfast and short walk to city plaza. Hosts were very helpful!

No parking for car. Had to park outside the city walls and walk your luggage into the hotel. Room was warm due to no air conditioning.

Proprietor Klaus is friendly. He runs a busy little shop down below. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet and convenient. Our double room with shared bath was very spacious and bed very comfortable.

Right on the center of action. Breakfast is great. Get all you need right below the store downstairs. Great value for the money.

We stayed at Pension Elke in May 2022. It is a perfect location for touring Rothenberg. If you want a clean, tidy place to stay this is it. It isn't fancy but I loved the homey feeling. Very nice and obliging host (Klaus) and his Father (I believe). Quaint entrance through the grocery store which has everything you need. The breakfast was excellent - pastries, deli meats, cheeses, yogurt, boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, etc. We had to leave early our last morning so the day before we asked if we have a few pastries to take with us. Instead of take-out pastries Klaus got up early and had the entire buffet ready for us. I would absolutely stay there again. Thank you Klaus!

I stayed 2 nights here and I really enjoyed my stay! My room had a beautiful view of the clock tower. The location was perfect, an easy 10-minute walk from the train station! Breakfast was great, and the shop below stocks everything in case you want some snacks, drinks, or any toiletries. The staff was lovely and super friendly! Would definitely stay here again :)
