This hotel more than met our expectations! The breakfast was tasty with many options for coffee or drinks. There was cereal, bread, multiple kinds of meat and cheese, yogurt, spreads, and hot eggs available. The room was clean, updated, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, answered any questions we had, whether in person or via email. The hotel is conveniently located within the walls, near a handful of delicious bakeries, restaurants, cafes, and the Chris**as Markets. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Rothenburg ob der Tauber!

Rooms were newly remodeled and nice, breakfast was also great. The kiosk for checking in was quite nice, I thought! The staff were friendly and kind! Would definitely recommend it here and will stay here again! Thank you!

Using a kiosk to get my room key was different but worked fine. Breakfast staff very friendly.

Mike was a great host and breakfast provider when we visited for a couple nights August 2023. Beautiful walkable town we particularly enjoyed the quiet morning walks outside along the wall and down to the river part of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimedge path.

Great location just by the Roman wall. Really easy check in. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was a continental style but they offered eggs as well. Definitely a good choice to explore the wonderful town of Rothenberg.

Overall enjoyed my time at the hotel. The location was great and had just what I needed for a 2 night stay. The appearance inside is a bit dated but that goes with the town and it was clean and comfortable. The fan in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice and friendly! Would book again if in Rothenburg in the future.

Property has just opened so they are working out some kinks. Nice area but chek in is via machine and no one to answer questions. Like where to park after paying for parking. I was lucky to guess right. Breakfast was good and owner nice and helpful. Just not there when checking in

This was a delightful stay. The room and the bed were very clean and comfortable. I didn’t love the self check in but the owner was available on the phone to answer our questions. The breakfast spread was outstanding. I highly recommend staying at The Hocher Hotel when you visit Rothenburg.
