The Greenman Pub

I feel that the Greenman pub stairs are not suitable for people like myself who use sticks to move down the stairs

No frills and no complaints you get what you pay for friendly staff would stay again

Service and staff were quick and friendly. Car park was a good size with plenty of spaces. An outdoor playground for the younger children. Outdoor smoking area for those that smoke. The quality of the food in the pub was good and would recommend eating there. There was a little boise from the pub downstairs as you would expect. But wasn't bad, and ended when the pub closed. The rom unfortunately was a little tired. The double bed was two singles pushed together, unfortunately they were slight height differences. The room window wouldn't close properly, so there was a bit of noise from outside. There was a crack in the bathroom sink that had been patched over. There was a large stain on the carpet. It may seem negative but the building is 400 years old and has a charm of it's own.

Room was basic but clean and perfectly functionable. Only issue with bed mattress - old and could do with being replaced. Great bar/restaurant, serving excellent food and service top notch.

This was my 2nd time eating dinner here. The 1st time I visited I ordered the lamb shank. It was the best lamb shank I've ever had, the meat fell off the bone. So, last night I ordered it again. Sadly, what arrived was the worst lamb shank I've ever had. It was an actual fight to get the meat off the bone. I told the waitress this when she cleared our plates. Her response was NOTHING absolutely no response no words or even change in facial expression. Won't be returning in a hurry.

Very convenient to visit family, plumbing seemed a bit noisy in the night. Stair carpet needs replacing. Had a good evening meal.

I took my dad out for a Friday lunch. It's the first time we'd been. My neighbours had recommended so thought we'd give it a go. The sun was shining so we sat outside. Lots of picnic benches - unfortunately my dad's mobility isn't good so can't get on and off those easily so sat at the one table with separate chairs for ease, but these were on gravel. Anyway, it was a friendly a**osphere and the food was really fab. In fact my dad went back with a friend he following day! My dad is a bit of a connoisseur of fish and chips and he loved them. Presentation was great. Pub needs a bit of tlc, but with more customers that'll be possible. Definitely my preferred place to eat in Dunchurch now. We'd definitely recommend!

Horrendous room! It was so damp and musty- the carpet, the bedding. Water seeped out when you stood on the bathroom tiles. The smell was awful due to how damp the room was. If I hadn't arrived so late at night I would have left and gone to somewhere else to stay.

Limited food options. Basic rooms but staff friendly
