BJ Playamar Hotel & Apartamentos

Just got home from these apartments last night and we had a great time. Ok, the apartments are a bit dated but they are clean, very spacious and have everything you need. The staff were all really friendly and nothing was too much bother for them. The location is brilliant, close to all amenities, beach, restaurants. We couldn’t believe our luck for the price we paid and will definitely be back.

I can’t recommend these apartments enough. Out flight out was cancelled and we contacted the receptionist at the Playamar direct. She could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The apartments are spotlessly clean, quiet and we had a great view of the beach. We would definitely book there again

Stayed here in a family room with friends for a long weekend. I stayed here many years ago and it hadnt changed that much on the hotel side but the apts were new. The room:4 single beds in 2 rooms with a bathroom inbetween. 2 balconies. Brilliant. The pool: brilliant, 1 at the hotelad, and 1 down at the apartments. The food: not good. We were HB and it wasnt so good but you get what u pay for in the end The location: fantastic,5mins from beach,restaurants, beach bars. All in all,very pleased,my room was very clean,the hotel was spotless and the staff were amazing Id go S/C if i stayed again,and really wouldn't do HB or AI u miss out on the gorgeous food/drink roundabout. When we arrived the receptionist was some what helpful however when we were given our room we were shocked. No air con but a fan on the wall which wasn’t even facing our bed. We had to re arrange the room to which the fan would then actually be facing us. A shared balcony with 2 other rooms which was not what we paid for. No plug sockets free for us to be able to charge devices except in the bathroom. Cleaning did not happen but more so ‘tidying’ we stayed for 5 nights and not once was our bedding changed and we had to request clean towels and toilet paper at reception even after placing out our dirty ones for the cleaner to replace with new ones. When asking reception for info on our transfer back, they did not speak but pointed at a code to scan. After standing there not sure what to do and explaining we were confused, they didn’t offer to help nor explain what it was we had to do. Food was terrible with a small selection for each meal and two meals being the same selection. Overall wouldn’t recommend if you want to have a relaxing holiday, however location is great not far from the beach and small town.

If you want to shower in your kitchen sink water then this is the place for you. We had a blocked pipe for 3 days and had food/oil/water from our kitchen sink coming out in our shower. I would never recommend this place, our room smelt of fish for days, there was blood on the curtains, the music/karaoke is played until 12/1 at night at the loudest volume. The kitchen also has nothing to cook with, as well as nothing has been washed properly and smells. However, the staff were kind and the hotels issues are not on them. The whole place needs a fix.

Firstly all holidays are what you make of them. Hotel didn’t advertise air con and to be fair I didn’t search that before we left so it’s our own fault, we got an extra fan on request but room still too hot. Place was tidy, food was avarage buffet food, breakfast very repetitive. Pools good, drink selection good very few queues even with only one bar open. No day entertainment and evening entertainment poor. We went for a chilled few days away and that’s what we got.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with breakfast included. I have nothing but the best to say. We arrived later, around 23h the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and towels changed every day. Breakfast was amazing, English breakfast, croissants, fresh bread, cold drinks and hot drinks. Staff friendly in general. Very good quality/price. Near to the beach, shops and restaurants. Pool for children separated from the pool for adults. We had an amazing time in Mallorca, highly recommended.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We had booked an apartment so we could cook our own meals some nights. However, the kitchen was a joke. There were no utilities, not enough glasses, and just an old frying pan there should have been replaced years ago. Luckily, our balcony and bedroom window did not face the pool area. The hotel entertainment went on from 8 pm to 1 am every night. Loud music and karaoke non-stop. The hotel is in walking distance to the beach.

I usually don't write, but this time I can't not to write 😜The 2-star hotel is very good. After reading the comment, I was afraid to go (but now I can say I would go again). We have just been 7 days there .The location is 5 minutes from SA coma beach. we were all inclusive, so the food is basic and a recurring plus is that you can eat very healthily without any sauce, which helped me not to deviate from the diet😂 but you could choose fish, escalopes, pizza, chicken, pork boiled and fried, paella. lunch and dinner are very similar food. breakfast is the same eggs, meatballs, buns. We were accommodated in hotel apartments, I can't say anything bad ,a/c and fan all equipment was there kettles ,spoons ,fridge .we stayed 2-I .I heard There is a fan only in the hotel rooms No a/c. The evenings in the hotel were fun, we didn't participate, but it was very fun to watch and listen on the balcony, the music was played until 12. There was bingo, karaoke. Evenings. As for the comment that the staff do not speak English, it is nonsense their English good enough to serve you . There is only adults pool and area which it's a great if you're without children. Children have two pools downstairs, where there's plenty of space for them. The hotel is 2 stars, but everything is neat and well. I was only disappointed in the women's toilet downstairs in the bar, because it was dirty and scary to use. But one morning I had to use it. Probably I was first and The toilet was clean and fresh .It's not the hotel's fault. I said that people are don’t have any responsibility and it makes them look disgusting. Comments about plastic cups for all inclusive can’t see any problems 😜 drinks serve till 10pm (all inclusive)after u need to pay I wasn’t drinking but so many local variety of drinks 👌 We definitely come back For us is wasn’t first time in S’Illot or Sa-come so definitely will be beach to this hotel .Sa-come beach better than sillot so recommend go straight away there 🥰 I guess people pay less and want 5start hotel sort you won’t get that 😂😂
