Welikehotel Marfil Playa

Stayed here in August with my wife and 3 kids, for 10 nights. The main things to note are the Hotel is very clean and tidy, rooms cleaned everyday, corridors spotless. Pool very nice, good temperature with a Pool technician checking water quality everyday. Drinks and food on offer at the Pool bar just inside the hotel. Staff very friendly. Night entertainment not the best compared to other places I’ve been, but that’s no big deal for me. We were half board. Breakfast buffets was all the things you can imagine. Plenty of choice. Dinner again pretty good, and plenty of puddings to choose from. So nothing to complain about which is great. That’s all you want from your holiday. Were there some things I could pick on, a few, our room on the 6th floor above the main reception faced a very loud music bar that went into midnight evert night, unfortunately the patio doors to the balcony seemed pretty old and didn’t block out much of the noise. All in an all a really nice 10 days. Sa Coma is a really nice resort and although it could do with some finer touches, the Marfil Playa is a good hotel.

The hotel was perfect for me and my 2 children (6 years old and 8 months old) and my mother. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were half board and the food was absolutely brilliant, always hot and fresh. There was plenty of choice to choice from...you could never go hungry! The animation team were brilliant with my son. He loved the arts and crafts and face painting, pool bingo and aqua dance. Special shout out to Cristian for making my son's day by giving him a rare pokemon card to keep. The swimming pool was always lovely and warm. The only negative I have was that the lifts were to small...once I had to wait 20mins just to be able to get in a lift with my daughter in her pushchair!! All the staff were so happy and positive in their jobs. Special shout out to Meli in the restaurant...my daughter loved her and Meli was very attentive towards here. We will definitely be back...hopefully next year!!

Just returned from 2 weeks in a pool view room with half board plus. Room on 3rd floor had a fantastic view over pool out to sea. Room was clean and fine for size for 2 adults & 12 year old - 3rd bed was a proper bed. Bathroom dated but clean and plenty hot water for showers. We all enjoyed breakfast & dinner and never struggled to find something to eat. Half board plus includes drink with evening meal. Pool was lovely - never had a problem getting a sun lounger, including in the afternoon. Played tennis which was €13 including racquets & balls for an hour. All staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Dominique, Guest Services who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The staff are all a credit to the hotel. Our only minor gripe wasn’t really hotels fault but chain smoker in adjoining room on our 2nd week spent all day & evening sitting on his balcony smoking. As non-smokers, it meant we didn’t want to sit in the fumes on balcony and had to keep balcony door shut which was a shame when we wanted to sit & relax on our balcony. We didn’t report it as you are entitled to smoke on balcony - just would’ve been nice if he’d left his room at some point!! All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return to this hotel again. Sa Coma was a lovely resort too.

The staff is friendly, the hotel rooms are neat and clean. The room and bathroom are not the most modern style, but they are clean and functional. Breakfast at the hotel is very varied and tasty. The beach is close (3-4 minute walk). I highly recommend it.

Excellent hotel and location 5 mins from a beautiful beach Spacious room although I would say bathroom needs updating Food was varied, but I'm fussy Not many choices for children and catered more for Germans . Hotel was immaculately clean and pool was sufficient . Shops and bars within walking distance

We booked this through easyJet. The hotel is a bit dated and stuck in the 80s but very well maintained and clean. The daily cleaning service for the room was excellent. We paid to have breakfast included when we checked in. For pool towels you need to pay €15 euro per towel deposit. Safe is a further €10 deposit for the key all in cash. Personally prefer the keypad safes as I find it annoying having to keep the key safe, safe all week. Breakfast was very good, fresh pancakes and omelettes cooked to your order. Waiting staff stocked up and cleaned plates efficiently. We had lunch in the hotel a couple of times at terrace by the pool. Bar staff were a bit hit or miss. Not sure whether it’s just easier for them serving the all inclusive guests rather than us. Last day we asked 3 times to order food to be ignored so we gave up after 30mins and went outside the hotel for lunch. It says you get a free game of tennis per stay but a grumpy man on reception informed us that as we booked through easyJet we had to pay €13 which was a shame as the tennis court remained unused throughout our stay and would have been nice for kids to use. Evenjng entertainment was convenient. Animacion staff were friendly but didn’t follow the activities itinerary so our little girl was disappointed not to get her face painted as shown on the agenda and we asked a few times if she could have it done. On the plus side the pool is lovely and generally a quieter hotel so always sun loungers and no queue for breakfast. Wouldn’t return mainly due to being outdated and having a few incidences where we were left disappointed.

Where do I start?? From the moment I walked through the revolving door into the hotel lobby, I was hugely impressed. The hotel is spotlessly clean in every area, from the lobby, lifts, bedrooms, toilets, bar area and pool side. Every member of staff is very friendly and polite and can't do enough for you, including table service for drinks on the terrace outside or seating area inside. There is entertainment staff during the day trying to get guests involved in free activities such as pool, darts or even volley ball if that's your thing. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool if that's what you're in to or plenty of tables and chairs both in the sun or on the terrace in the shade if you prefer. The beach is a 5 minute walk if you want to venture away from the hotel, with plenty of bars and a burger King on the way. I was all inclusive so all local spirits, beers and wines were included but had to pay a bit extra if you wanted premium stuff but the local stuff was more than good enough for me and my partner. Ice lollies, sandwiches and cake were included too. Meal times there was quite a lot to chose from although it wasn't always to my taste but i didn't go without and always found something I could eat. Overall this an amazing hotel with amazing staff and is very worthy of its 4 star rating. Would I return, 100% yes I will be returning at some point in the future.

The hotel ,resort & location was fantastic. It could not have been better. From the moment we arrived the staff were very welcoming, friendly, polite & helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends. I would certainly book to come back & stay again. The only negative was there wasn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The matrice can be better.. Food was like a dream.. Marvellous staff.. Yes a nice holiday .. Except the hotel have a tourist tax extremely high, you pay depozit for safety box for towels etc..Yes you get the money back .If someone ask me if worth the money? No no no. Anyway,i give them *** because the staff extremely friendly.
