Good things: The food in thd restaurant is good. Bad things: We asked for a king size bed room and we got a twin bed room instead. Moreover, the room was incredibly dirty: there were bugs and hairs in the bed sheets. The new ones they brought had stains all over the place. Towels have had better days 20 years ago. Overall: I would not recommend it at all.

I write this review to inform you all those who want to book a hotel near Sagara, please please dont book green embassy. This is the worst hotel i have everr seen in my life. 1. Dirty linens 2. Stained pillows 3. Black fungus on the towels 4. Stained bathroom, IRCTC toilets are much better . 5. Hairy bed 6. Brockedn plugs and switches 7. Hair and dust on bed If you want a hygenic stay and if you love yourself, please stay away from green embassy

Hotel location was good near heart off city but I am not satisfied few things room was good and we’ll clean, specially room boy Rizwan he is given good service all the time and immediately good smells with service, and we had lunch yesterday we ordered chicken biryani biryani was very spicy my daughter was can not eat we inform service person no any apologies instead of any give food this is very bed negative, and we are request late chak out some few hours reception agent ask to extra payment, this is al so not right q we are regular guest every 5 months we are stay this hotel , I hope management will be taken action about al my experience hotel feedback hope next time visit it will improve our stay thx

very horrible. unclean toilets, unhygenic conditions. Never visit this hotel again if you want to leave healthy after the stay. The cost is high and its not worth for your money. Please refrain from going there.

The most hopeless hotel I have every stayed. Stains on every sheet and pillow cover, no proper food and dirtiest hotel every stayed. Never ever go by other reviews, they server only South Indian food. The staff is very very horrendous and very bad attitude, not at all helpful. Pls pls pls do not go.

Most amazing and beautiful hotel in sagara, fantastic service provided in the hotel. Most of the amazing features of the hotel. 1.great food taste and presentation. 2.great staff and warm welcoming of the guest. 3.great housekeeping service. 4.great service staff with polite gestures. 5.front office people are amazing and so professional. 6.great lobby ambience. 7.superb welcoming criteria (always with different types of welcome drinks). Seriously i have never visited such facilities, ambience, respect, food . I must advice you to visit such a great hotel to enjoy real hospitality.

Very Good Ambience, Good Hospitality and Neatly maintained Room. AC also in Good Working condition. Complimentary Break Fast is really Apt and Tasty. Nearer to Shiganduru Temple Road and also nearer to Varadaralli Mutt

I booked this hotel by seeing good rating on TripAdvisor. But had very bad experience. Dirty pillows, linens and blanket having black fungus on there. Air conditioning was not working. There was no housekeeping staff to attend. Then I did some digging on TripAdvisor about how this hotel has such good ratings. If you look carefully all the good reviews, all such reviewers has only 1 contribution, they never reviewed any other hotel till date. It seems like fake profiles were created by hotel itself to give 5 rating. This hotel is overpriced, ratings are manipulated.

Don't be fooled by good rating on TripAdvisor. Read before booking this hotel : I was on a 2 nights, 3-day trip to visit some of the ancient temples nearby Shimoga & Sagara. First night, I stayed at Royal Orchid Central, Shimoga - 2 Rooms @ Rs.5,485/- (screenshot attached) Second night, I stayed at Green Embassy, Sagara - 2 Rooms @ Rs.5,385/- (screenshot attached) There is a difference of only Rs.50/- per room. These two hotels are at a distance of 70km. Shimoga is a district place and big city, Sagara is a taluka (tehsil) in the Shimoga district and a small town. I am mentioning here rates of both hotels because you get to know if you are getting "value for money" only if you compare the rates with hotels in close proximity. Admittedly, Royal Orchid is a big brand, and there is no need to mention the amenities and service i got there. It was excellent as always. Green Embassy hotel management should consider - When the rates are same, everything will be compared to the Royal Orchid. Below is the review / comparison of Green Embassy, Sagara - This is a hotel posing to be a luxury hotel but not more than an average hotel at a price of luxury hotel. It was dieali night, When I reached hotel, there was no one present on the reception. The entire staff was busy bursting firecrackers. After checking in, the first impression on the room was very good. The person who carried my bag waited for almost 10 minutes for the tip. He left only when i tipped him. When I had a look at the bed, I came to know that the sheets, blanket, and pillow covers were used by previous guests and not chaged. It was very dirty and had hairs and stains over the bed. (Pictures attached). So I decided to call housekeeping. There was no guide on the phone about which number to dial for housekeeping, room service, reception, etc. So I just randomly dialled no.9 and told about the dirty sheets, blanket, and pillow covers. Then the same person who brought my luggage came with new sheets and pillow cover and handed over it to me. When I requested him to change the sheets, he told me that the mattress is very heavy and it requires 3 people to change the sheets and he is the only person on duty in the entire hotel. The time was 8 PM. There was an electric kettle in the room, but no tea bags, no coffee sachets at all. When I asked about it, he came back with lots of milk powder sachet, only 1 coffee sachet and no tea bag. And he told me that this is all they have. Later, I found that air conditioning was not working. So again, I called reception twice. But no one showed up. As I was very tired, i went to sleep without air conditioning. The next day I checked out at 9:00 AM. At the reception I asked them to see the manager. He said the manager comes at 10:30. About restaurants: I ordered paneer tikka masala for dinner. In the menu, it was described as "Tandoor baked paneer." But the paneer was actually deep fried and not tandoor baked. When I told the same to the restaurant manager, he j
