St Agnes Hotel

Called in for breakfast, excellent Full Cornish with a large espresso, just the ticket! Dog friendly and a nice vibe to the place. St Agnes Hotel really does feel like the centre of village life, opposite the church, a vibrant bar and a list of events, music nights etc

What an amazing place to stay! A 10minute walk from the beach, set in a lovely village, opposite a church.. from the moment we walked in we felt welcome, ALL the staff and owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.. our room was beautiful and called church view which didn’t disappoint.. breakfast was included and was DELICIOUS! We also had a dinner which was also delicious.. the bar/pub had a nice friendly atmosphere and was busy every night but you couldn’t hear any noise from the rooms.. a nice decking area out the back for when the sun decides to come out.. I would definitely return!

We went for a family dinner for a birthday. The bar/ dining area was clean and tidy, It was a set Sunday lunch menu, however the food was extremely poor.My wife had the beef that she said she needed a steak knife to cut, I had pork which was mostly fat but the little bit of pork was also very tough. The potatoes had a strange texture but at least they were Luke warm unlike all the other vegetables which were cold and the “cauliflower cheese” if that is what it was, looked like it had been microwaved for about 3 hours then left to go cold. The Yorkshire pudding was harder than the pork crackling . Didn’t want to make a fuss as there were quite a few of us, but had it just been myself and my wife I would have complained and definitely not paid for it, very very disappointing, we live quite close but will definitely not be going back

Beautiful hotel in a stunning village location. Dog friendly, spacious and well decorated room with an amazing mattress. Staff were super friendly, food and drink was excellent and value for money. Own cat park at rear is a bonus. Thank you so much for a great time.

Thank you Tammy and Neal for the usual warm welcome. We probably call in at the Aggie nearly every day on our holiday. Sometimes for a Rattler, sometimes for a coffee or a Smoothie. Maybe even for a full sit down meal. All I can say the staff are amazing, always a smile. Neal even recognised Zara and I from last year. I can strongly recommend this hotel bar and restaurant. Great beers great food great staff (and the odd excitable local 😁🤪) see you next year hope you both still there 🤞

Visited for drinks with my sister, and couldn’t fault the service or wine! We sat outside on the picnic benches and watched the busy village go buy. Reasonably priced for the area. Will certainly visit for food next time, the rooms also look fab.
