We have stayed at this quaint Inn the past three visits to St. Augustine. We love the private access to the beach, the pool and the beautifully kept grounds. Growing up in St. Augustine, I remember passing by this Inn many times. It still looks like it did all those years ago and is what draws me to it when I return to SA. It has that homey feel and the staff makes you feel like family! Special shout out to Cheryl! If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to rest your head, this is it! Family owned and well maintained! See ya next year!

I was back at my beautiful La Fiesta Ocean Inn just for the night, and I was reminded of why I keep going back to this beautiful site. There beach is of course spectacular, Fiesta Falls right next door, and the inn has a clean, cool pool, perfect for lounging or getting in a bit of exercise, bc it's large enough to swim laps. But I was reminded last night and this morning of just how much care the owners take in keeping the grounds immaculate, the flowers blooming and the rooms first-rate clean. Add to this an exceptionally reasonable rate and breakfast included, and there's really no better place to be on the beach -- including the whole Atlantic!

This hotel is close to beach with private beach access. It does take about 5 minutes or more to get to the beach due to the size of the property. It is a short drive to St. Augustine old town. Restaurants are close but not necessarily in walking distance if too hot outside. The rooms are nice and many are old school. You may want to consider a balcony room. Pool is warm and the site well maintained. Staff are nice and helpful. The bring a nice breakfast to your room in the morning and you can order the best sausage biscuits if you like.

My review is a bit different, as I was not a hotel guest, but rather I was turning in an application for employment and did have a first-hand look at the first point of contact. I was a bit appalled and disappointed from what I experienced and to anyone who is a paying guest, and have to experience what I did, I do feel badly for them. I walk into the check-in/front office and there is a disheveled and sloppy looking woman, which to me, is not how I want my business to be represented. To add insult to injury, she was eating something that had caused both her mouth and fingers to be covered with mayonnaise or some such sauce. Once again, not a good first impression and shame on whoever does the hiring. If all that wasn't bad enough, I turn in my application and this woman then tries to speak to me, with a mouth full of food, and I couldn't understand what she said, other than it sounded like grunting. She snatches the application with her mayonnaise-covered fingers, staining it in the process, then waves me away and answers a phone call, still with food in her mouth. Other than that absolutely horrible first-point-of-contact experience, the rest of the hotel ambiance was pleasant and clean. I cannot speak for the rooms themselves, because I did not stay here as a guest. I have, however, played mini-golf at the attached course and it was lovely. Hopefully, the owners of this place will step up their game and not hire people who don't put forth any effort to look, and act, in a presentable and professional manner.

Short walk to the beach! Rooms were clean, and the staff was amazing! We were very pleased and will stay again the next time we are in St Augustine! The location to nearby restaurants is also very convenient and just a 10-15 minute drive to Old St Augustine.

Walk over the dunes and you are on the beach! This is a private entrance to the beach, and this beach is not commercialized. It wasn't crowded, and it's very clean. You stay in an older but updated and clean hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, staffed 24 hours, and they deliver breakfast to your room! The grounds are beautiful, a pool for those who want to lounge there, and a bus stop for the Old Town Trolley right in front! This was my third trip, and I'll be back any time I can.

We had the most incredible experience. The staff was so welcoming. Rooms were charming & comfortable. The grounds were kept so neat & clean. The manicured path to the beach was such a pleasant surprise. A quaint continental Breakfast was delivered right to our door each morning. We have stayed here several times and will definitely be back.
