Scoodic Motel

Really loved this place, the rooms are cozy and clean. The bed was so comfy we ended up sleeping 10h peacefully after our long roadtrip. The service is amazing, and easy to contact with quick response. ❤️

After reading the reviews on TA about how clean this place was, and how friendly the owner was, we booked our stays. We booked one night at the beginning of our trip and another on our return, 4 days later. As promised, the room was charming and clean. It just smelled so fresh when you opened the door. Daniel the owner, was friendly and so welcoming. On our return trip, 4 days later, he welcome us back, remembered our names and gave us the same room as before. We felt like old friends. Definitely will use this as our base in the St Stephen area. They do close for approximately 3 months during the winter.

This place is charming and spotlessly clean. It is small, but we only stayed one night so it was fine. My only complaint is that there is not electrical outlet in the bathroom. I started to dry my hair and couldn't find the outlet because there wasn't one. Never encountered that before.

The room was super clean, and although very small in size it was fully adequate. The bed was very comfortable, everything was in good repair, and the hosts were very friendly and decent. Very affordable and very reasonable. Would certainly stay here again.

Conveniently located motel in Oak Bay. Unit was clean and quiet. Owners were very accommodating. We would stay here again. This is close to Saint Andrews. The cost was reasonable. Everything in the room worked including a nice refrigerator and microwave.

excellent motel. Very clean and well kept. Very fast check in owner was very friendly. Coffee available at front desk. Fridge in rooms. Very convenient for the border crossing ,local restaurants are close by.

Charming motel in/near St Stephen NB. The hosts are very nice. Quiet location for a much-needed good night's sleep. The double rooms are of a smaller size, but clean and neat, with updated linens, plus the beds are the most comfie we have slept in in a very long time. Spacious parking spaces, and really tasty morning coffee. One tip * bathtub is very slippery to stand in when having a shower.

Plug in a few things that need a electricity and everything stops working. Overloaded the system. Had to ask the guy who owns the motel to go and fix the problem. Got back our electricity. Wifi only works outside of the room. The closer you get to the check-in and check out main office, the better wifi you have. There's no password for the wifi. You can do basic googling, sending messages and stuff, but you can't upload pictures or videos to anywhere. Use a VPN or something. It helps. Looks kind of nicer than I expected for a motel. Bathroom is hella tiny. Got to close the door fully to use the toilet. The toilet is behind the door, the sink is right beside the toilet, and the bathtub is right beside the sink. There's no fan in the bathroom, so if you take a stinky poop, the smell will stick for awhile. The bed is pretty hard. Feels like a cardboard box. My parents enjoyed the solid bed... I did not. My back hurts. The fridge and microwave is good. Works well. There are chickens somewhere out back. Chickens just chilling. Cute. The owner is kind and helpful. The couple owners are Korean. They had the motel for 1 year now. There's coffee and tea in the morning, I think it's 7/8-11am.

Between 2019 and 2022 something must’ve happened! We apparently had a “suite” compared to our friend’s room! Which was nothing to write home about. It was cute yes. However!!! I got to shower with minimal pressure and that was it! There was no water for another, and I don’t take long showers! Our friends could not even shower. The water smelled some awful, which I get well water can be hit and miss. However. Breakfast was non existent. Not even continental. Even Max didn’t want to go back in after a night. Which is a shame cause the property itself is pretty decent, I have stayed in plenty of places and I’m fussy. As long as it’s clean. However if there isn’t enough water for 2 showers…We ended up at the Winsome Inn. Which has been great!
