This is a wonderful guest house near the city of Tours, France. Our host, Sophie, is just charming and a excellent cook. We did not have the time to experience her French diner, but her baking offerings at breakfast were excellent. She also made jams and yogurts that were great. If you have the opportunity to visit this area of France, then I would highly recommend a stay at La Grande Dimiere.

This is a beautifully kept B and B in a quiet location with secure off road parking. The hostess was very welcoming and the food offering excellent. She has thought of every detail and kindly made special gluten free items for my husband. Our only reservation is that we enjoy meeting other travellers in B and B’s or the host family which is why we choose them in preference to hotels and we ate alone. However we shall surely be back as it’s easy to access the motorway.

This is our second stay. There is always a lovely welcome and a comfortable stay awaits. Spacious room and lovely grounds. Good location to tour the Loire valley and Chateau region. Breakfast is always plentiful with home made jam, marmalades and breads.

My wife and I stayed one night in the smaller (Ronsard) room at La Grange Dîmière. This is an excellent base for visiting chateaux, wineries, and other sites in the mid Loire Valley. The room is ample, with a fine bath. The gardens are lovely, and the large pool is delightful in season. The building is quiet and private with secure parking. Sophie was welcoming and made a delicious breakfast with homemade pastries. She also recommended and made a reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant. We would love to have stayed longer.

Sophie has created the perfect stay. The rooms are excellent, the catering superb and the hospitality wonderful. Sophie can also prepare evening meals on request. The Loire chateaux are on the doorstep.

2 nuits dans ce petit cocon à la délicate déco ( le linge de lit et les serviettes de toilette de belles qualités sont à souligner). Très chaleureux accueil par Sophie et son époux. Jolie chambre spacieuse, au calme. Petit déjeuner parfait, copieux, avec plusieurs produits fait maison : yaourts, brioche, confitures ; ce matin, far breton. Le grand jardin est aussi très bien entretenu et nous en avons bien profiter ! La piscine, chauffée, est accessible sur de larges plages horaires, c'est un vrai plus à la belle saison ! Une très bonne adresse à noter au registre "douillet cocon comme à la maison" !

La Grange Dîmière est une maison d’hôte de qualité. Le parking sécurisé, le grand jardin agrémenté de sa piscine chauffée, la salle à manger conviviale et les chambres vastes, confortables, joliment décorées et parfaitement équipées offrent le cadre idéal pour se détendre après une journée d’excursion ; tout est pensé pour le bien être des vacanciers. Sophie est une hôtesse attentive, très sympathique, qui fournit d’excellents conseils touristiques et régale nos papilles du petit déjeuner au dîner gourmand. Je recommande vivement La Grange Dîmière pour un séjour en Val de Loire des plus agréables.

Depuis la chambre spacieuse en passant par le grand jardin, la piscine, le parking privé, le frileux petit déjeuner et une hôtesse charmante , tout était parfait. Le grand jardin est aussi très agréable. La wifi est très bonne aussi . Magnifique

Maison ancienne dans un quartier moderne sans âme. Notre chambre, avec mezzanine était propre et nette mais donnait sur la rue avec un certain passage. Petit dejeuner décevant: pas de fruits, pain de la veille, croissant à peine cuit. Aucune possibilité de manger salé (pas de fromage même après demande, salaison, oeuf...). Assiette du soir, correcte mais pas exceptionelle. Attention piscine accessible à certaines heures! Appreciation moyenne, B&B qui ne vaut pas son prix.
