Hôtel Prestige Odalys Erromardie

I recently stayed at Camping Ferme and would like to share my objective feedback regarding my check-out experience. During this process, I encountered several communication and service issues that I believe warrant attention. Upon check-out, I unfortunately found myself in a distressing situation. The manager's behavior was inappropriate and alarming, as he raised his voice and displayed aggression towards me. This incident left me visibly upset, with my children also taken aback by the manager's conduct. This incident stands in stark contrast to the level of service one would expect from an establishment with a claimed four-star rating. As a foreign guest, I faced challenges during the check-in process due to a lack of effective communication. The absence of clear instructions in English regarding check-out times and cleaning standards hindered my understanding of the camping's policies. During my check-out, I was confronted by the manager's frustration over a late departure and concerns about cleanliness. I was perplexed by the notion that guests paying a substantial fee, such as the 1500 euros for the week, are expected to handle cleaning duties. While I did my part in maintaining cleanliness, it was evident that the camping's cleaning practices are reliant on guests rather than a dedicated staff. The unprofessional and discourteous manner in which issues were addressed made me feel unsupported and mistreated. A more respectful and empathetic approach would undoubtedly contribute to a more positive and reassuring experience for guests.

It’s very stressful when you arrive with lots of other Motorhomes as there iisnt a lot of room to park while you check in but once you are on your pitch you really have it all there. A shop to get fresh bread in the morning,bars and restaurants on the beach front with tapas and ice cream too. There is a cycle Lane into Saint Jean du Luz….although it’s uphill on the way back. There are supermarkets in walking distance. The pool is small but very clean and so are the shower and toilet blocks. We will definitely go back as we enjoyed our time on the beach but it’s not the safest as the tides are quick but fun to watch all the surfers.

We spent 4 nights although had only planned a 1 night stopover. The location is fabulous- close to beach & lovely beach bars. Everyone very friendly. Great cycle routes to St Jean de Luz one way & Biarritz the other. Site a bit quirky & difficult to manoeuvre large motorhome especially to get to motorhome service point for water & waste but it is possible & worth it!!

This is a nice flat site which had reasonable shade and most pitches spacious with hedge. Beach literally across the road. Good facilities with toilet paper, hot water and excellent wi-fi coverage. Water taps were hard to find and sprayed all over the place. Small on-site shop with bread in morning, a restaurant/bar, swimming pool and children's playing area. Did not try the restaurant/bar. Bus stop to St Jean within 10-15 mins walk of site ... get advice from reception re. location and timetable... short trip into town. It is possible to walk to St Jean over a pretty good path -- takes about 30-35 mins and has a slopely start but not very demanding. Not all staff have good English but always try to help. There are two fairly attractive pubs / restaurants just outside the site. At times late night music, laughing and shouting --- may not wake one up but might make it hard to get to sleep.

Tout s’est très bien passé. Le personnel a été adorable, discret, mais présent si nécessaire. L’hôtel hyper bien placé, proche de la plage et a transmis à pied du centre-ville. L’hôtel possède une grande piscine, il est au calme, et la vue est exceptionnel. Chambre spacieuse, refaite à neuf, literie très confortable et hygiène irréprochable.

Hôtel 3 étoiles plus que mérité. Venu passé un week end, nous souhaitions un hôtel au calme proche de la plage et proche du centre ville. Tout y est dans cette hôtel, grande piscine et plage à côté et à 30mn à pied du centre ville. Vraiment rien à dire, personnel au top, chambre au calme et refaite à neuf. Le petit plus, le balcon avec un superbe vue !
