If anyone is looking for a peaceful and quiet stay in St. Kitts, Koi Hotel is for you! I loved the ocean balcony views that face the sunrise every morning. The staff are super friendly, the spa was superb, and the locals are kind and sweet. Please note that there is no beach access, however, the hotel offers a free shuttle to Frigate Bay beach. There isn’t much to do at Koi, there is a restaurant and they offer room service. Since they don’t have a gift shop, I would recommend bringing your own snacks and lots of books to read. I loved discovering the island and taking a catameran to Nevis Island, there is also zip lining excursions and lots of hiking activities.

There are not many hotels on the island and driving access is limited but overall it was a great property. I would stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property as there were some negative reviews recently. I stayed there for 5 days for work and it turned out to be a very nice experience. The rooms are big, comfortable and very modern and clean. Some face the beach (more expensive) but I had a room facing the mountain and it was equally pleasant. It is a smaller hotel, very quiet, not a lot of noise/tourists/ people so you can relax. The restaurant has a good variety of food and it is of very good quality. Room service is prompt and efficient. Wifi works very well throughout the premises. There is a small but nice pool and a gym.
The down sides is that although you are on the beach, you cannot actually swim from the beach but there is a shuttle every day (free) that brings you to and from the beach twice a day. Another downside is that the hotel is a bit remote from downtown you have little dining options outside the hotel restaurant.
Staff is very pleasant and hotel is reasonably priced. If you want to play gold, the golf court is right next door.

Our room had no warm water, it was heavily watermarked and kind of looked like it just isn’t being taken care of. The hotel is super dingy and dark and not really inviting but the staff were nice

The Koi property has not yet achieved its full potential. The primary restaurant is not yet opened, no beach access, no spa. These things and others are expected in the future. The staff work hard, but as these items are not yet available you should anticipate needing transportation to activities elsewhere on beautiful St. Kitts

The showers are built in a way that water runs through the glass and into the rest of the bathroom area so the floors are often wet. Front desk staff is great particularly Krystal

Staff where awsome. Food was average.
Its located by itself, so u need a car or taxi to go anywhere. 20 dollars into town or airport.
Room was clean and all room have a balcony.
Rooms that face the marriott will have a sunrise other wise go to the pool to watch. Pool is a for kids. Not very big. Lots of parking. There are some flying bugs. Leave balcony door closed.

This is a beautiful new hotel on the island. You are greeted by friendly staff with welcome drinks. I was disappointed showing up after 4pm and my room still was not ready - note check is at 3pm and I was traveling with two toddlers. The Koi restaurant is still not open. Therefore, there is only one dining option. I am West Indian. In my opinion, the food is average and overpriced. All of the entrees come with mash potatoes and you can not substitute which I found odd. I expected an Asian fusion restaurant on a carribean island to have rice as an option. You had to order anything you wanted as a side option and the mac n cheese was not good. I was disappoonted because I was expecting Asian food selections (Sushi, Hibachi, etc.). They had good breakfast options. The pool was great, there is a 2ft side for the children. In terms of getting anywhere on the island, you will have to arrange transportation prior to coming to the hotel. To get to town and back from the hotel via taxi will cost you about $40 US. If you have reliable transportation you will have a great experience as the rooms are excellent and you will have your options to dine off the grounds wherever you'd like.
