Best Western Moores Central Hotel

Old Hotel but great and fantastic location. Stayed in Superior room, really big, at least twice as big as standard room. Close to Harbour and in Town centre. Bus station close by, All busses leave from Town Terminus. Had a great time. Want to visit again.

I initially chose this hotel because of its location right in the centre of St Peter Port.However, it is so much more than the location. As the hotel was once a private residence it retains a quirky individuality and original features - so much nicer than the sterile interiors of many modern hotels. My room was furnished in a slightly old fashioned manner but very comfortable with a view over part of the town and the sea in the distance. So very nice to have the option of a bath or a shower - quite a rarity these days. The room was spotlessly maintained during my four night stay. One aspect I really liked was that the hotel offers fresh Guernsey milk in little bottles for in room tea and coffee and just ask at reception if you want another bottle. The milk is delicious - so much nicer than the long life milk capsules. All the reception staff were very very pleasant and helpful and I took advantage of a free 3 hour bus tour of Guernsey that the hotel provides I think twice a week for its visitors. The tour was fabulous with a very knowledgable guide. Should the opportunity arise I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Really comfortable stay, great location, in the main street and very short walk to the harbour for boat trips. The food was fantastic, with lots of choice and great staff. We loved using the jacuzzi to relax in after long days out. Would definately stay there again.

Stayed 7 nights as part of an escorted tour with Titan. Hotel is fantastic with an ideal, centrally located position. The food at both breakfast and dinner was outstanding with a lot of choice. The staff are friendly and professional and really cannot do enough for you. Rooms have everything that you need including a mini fridge to keep a little bottle of Guernsey milk in for your tea/coffee. Other restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, shops and banks are all within walking distance. We took advantage of the free half day island tour offered by the hotel twice a week, and it was excellent. As it was only a 16 seater the vehicle managed to get down some quite narrow roads that larger vehicles cannot, so we saw an awful lot of this stunning and rugged island. Thoroughly recommend a stay at the Best Western Moores Central in St Peter Port.

Excellent choice. Lovely hotel with convenient location and great housekeeping standards. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with tub. Restaurants nearby. On a quiet street. We would definitely stay at this old stone nice hotel again.

I would come back to the island and this hotel in a heartbeat. The staff couldn't do enough, really friendly. The food was delicious. The hotel is right in the middle of all of the attractions. Room was gorgeous. There is a spa, gym, jacuzzi, a gorgeous terrace, 3 bars, a formal restaurant and a gorgeous cafe with cakes and a bar that also serves food.
