The hotel is nice, clean, and we had a good night'ssleep. It is in a good location to Ft Leonard Wood Army Base. However, the ADA room with a roll-in shower is not up to to ADA regulations. First the bed is higher than it should be. It should be 18-20 inches from the floor. Standard seat height for a wheelchair in the USA is 19 inches from the floor. We transfer across we do not stand or move upward. The bed needs to be lowered to wheelchair seat height. The bathroom sink mirror is too high and the decorative strip runs across a person's face making it impossible for anyone in a wheelchair to see. The mirror needs to be lowered or replaced. The corner shelf is too high for placing anything on to put on one's makeup or shave. This shelf needs to be lowered or place a small table (on wheels) next to it. Finally, when we came in at night there were no ADA blue parking signs in the parking lot. During the day we noticed a very worn out wheelchair symbol on the ground. That needs to be immediately updated also. We travel a lot and this Marriott Hotel does not fully meet ADA regulations. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you.
