I spent a week at the Bambù hostel and it was magical. At the hostel I immediately felt at home. The staff is kind and welcoming. Tours, with or without guides, of the various attractions of San Agustin directly from the hostel are available every day. The hostel is clean and equipped with everything. Hot water, drinking water and the kitchen is well stocked (not obvious). I was enchanted by the rooftop, directly with a view of the sunset. The location is great, in the center of the city but at the same time away from the noise. Beyond comfort, I found a place where I could meet many travelers like me, participate in excursions even at the last minute but above all a place where I could feel at home.

The hostel has nice, family and laid-back atmosphere. Good to stay few days to visit the area which is very interesting. You can also book tours from the hostel. Near to local restaurants. You can stay in private or social rooms. Warm water and fast Internet.

Look no further, Hostel Bambu is the place to stay in San Agustin! This hostel is full of art and it feels like home. The kitchen is well-equipped and the plants surrounding the common spaces make it a fresh atmosphere. The views and sunsets from Hostel Bambu are the best in town!

I had a really nice time in Hostel Bambu! Beautiful terrace with a variety of seating - from chairs and a table to hammocks and my favourite: swinging bench overlooking the wonderful hills surrounding San Agustín. The hostel is very comfortable, no bunk beds - so no one's climbing to bed above you in the middle of the night. Socket next to each bed, shelves, locker, bedside table, truly hot shower! Plenty of places and friendly vibes to socialise with other guests. Well equipped kitchen (it even has a blender), a lot of information about activities in the area and available tours and just overall a very beautiful building, made of bamboo. Mostly. Reliable internet for anyone who's working remotely. 3 lovely cats are just another plus.

I simply just had an amazing stay!!! The staff is professional but very friendly and super helpfull at the same time!! Their rooftop terras is such an added value! Also the other hostel guest were nice and easy to connect with! Would recommend everyone!!! And the cats are great as well :)

Hostel with an amazing vibe, really easy to meet and connect with people (of all ages!). People kept on extending their stay! Well equipped kitchen to cook food, beds make you sleep like a rock, and the terrace has a great view over the town. Free coffee in the mornings, delicious breakfast and beers to buy. Has everything I would look for in a hostel, no complaints at all :)

Hostal Bambu is the best hostal you could find to stay in! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the hostal and kitchen were always clean, and the atmosphere was really nice, thanks to stephanie and the other guests who were staying (it seemed like lots of guests were returning for their second or third stay as well!) There are so many tours you can do in the area, and san agustin is also just a great place to spend time and relax. I will definitely be returning here.

I had an amazing experience in Bambu hostel ! Everything is clean and the rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is very practical with a lot of ustensiles to use. I really like the terrasse with beautiful view. Cool ambiance and nice people working there ! The breakfast is good and cheap. Perfect place to stay few days. I totally recommend !!!

Bambu hostel is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed at! It's in one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia, 5 minutes from the main square with a rooftop that looks over the mountains and the town. Estefani the manager takes fantasic care of the guests and is always working hard to make sure the hostel is perfect for them. She is always helpful and kind and has great ideas and suggestions for the guests. The breakfast is delicious and a very reasonable price, there is also beer available, and a laundry service - which is very useful. There are many fun activities that can be booked through the hostel like zip lining, waterfalls, white water rafting, coffee tours and so much more. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone that enjoys beautiful views, adventure, hiking or just wants to chill in a scenic place with great service before their next adventure.
