Good location for overnight transit. My flight was delayed and I arrived over 12am so I couldn't get the shuttle, I took a 5 mins Uber and the distance was 29 usd. The room is clean and comfy, worthy for the price.

Hotel has been totally upgraded with great modern amenities such as LED lighting, many electrical and USB Outlets, wireless phone chargers, fridge & microwave. Rooms were relatively quiet even with SFO air traffic. Definitely a return destination.

The room is small but with a huge, empty-ish bathroom. Kids needed to use bathroom when I was checking in, but the staff said NO. No public bathroom under COVID regulation. And the staff was slowly, very slowly doing the checking in paperwork.....until I rushed him, hey, kids really need bathroom.

It is relatively close to the airport. There is a paid shuttle bus, which costs 7.9 dollars per person. It is more convenient to leave on time. It is very convenient to have an early flight. You need to pay attention to the fact that the bus is not available all the time. The room configuration is also very complete. If you are in transit, it is worth staying here.

The location is very close to the airport, and it only takes 5 minutes to get there by car. However, there is no public transportation to get there. Uber is very expensive, and parking requires parking in a paid parking lot. The overall environment of the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is very rich, and the staff at the reception are very polite.

First of all, the scenery is invincible. You can see the airport and the takeoff and landing of planes. Wi-fi is charged, as is parking, and everything else is fine. Wi-fi is US$14.50 per day and parking is US$30 per day. If you drive by yourself, the price/performance ratio is not as good as the Hyatt next door (Hyatt has Airtrain direct access to various terminals at the airport, including the car rental center, if you return the car one day in advance.) However, the price has doubled, but there is not much difference if you return the car one day in advance. Summary: If you drive, returning the car one day in advance is not as cost-effective as Hyatt. If you don’t have a car, this hotel will be more cost-effective. There are several Chinese restaurants nearby, all on the seaside. The prices are high and suitable for business banquets.

I needed a place close to the airport just for one night bc my flight would come in too late for the rental car counters to be open. I wanted it to be inexpensive, less than $20 cab ride from l SFO, have a free shuttle to airport in the morning so I could get my rental car. This fit the bill, plus has free breakfast. However, I can’t give it more than three stars. It’s really run down in a not very good neighborhood. Loud clanky elevator. Paint chipped lots of places. Paper stuffed in the security peephole in the door? loud planes constantly flying overhead because this hotel is right in the flight path and very close. I could hear a guest snoring in the room next to us. This is just a convenient place to park yourself overnight if you need to be super close to SFO. I met a family on the shuttle that frequently uses this hotel before and after cruises just to be close to the airport, but they cautioned that this was not a safe area to walk around. All that being said, the front desk staffer (same guy for late night and morning) was super nice and helpful. In fact, it’s because of him that I booked the room. Other hotels around would only send me to a call center and wouldn’t assure me I could get in the room if my midnight flight came in late at 1 or 2AM. This guy actually talked to me as I was making the reservation and said “I will be here and I will let you in” he also gave me the tip that a cab is about $15 whereas Uber is $30-40 to get threre.

Very clean hotel. The service is good and coffee and tea are all-you-can-drink. Also, although there is only a little breakfast, the variety is changed every day. In addition, the lobby and breakfast venue can be used freely except for meal time, so you can buy dinner and eat there. I have to drive, but it's a short walk from the airport. There is no laundry.

Amenities are really lacking - the room lacked basic items, including no free water in the room, no slippers, only one dressing gown (despite being booked for two people). Temperature controls were inconsistent. The lighting was either on or off - no way to turn off just a few. Service was predominately pretty poor - staff were grumpy and aloof from our arrival onwards. But Sammie was fantastic - when we encountered an issue with the heating in our original room she was super accommodating and friendly. Redeeming qualities - the room was really clean, housekeeping were great, the view from the roof was great, and the location was walking distance from so many places (MOMA, Union Square, Oracle Stadium, Chase Stadium, Pier 33 for Alcatraz, ferry building etc) as well as good food options.

As other reviewers have said, we found this hotel to be a little worn down. Nevertheless, our room was clean and comfortable and all the people we encountered at the desk were helpful and friendly. However, getting food in this area was a real challenge. Usually airport hotels have lots of choices of both fast food and restaurants, but the offerings in this location are minimal. It compounded our disappointment to learn the hotel's restaurant was only open certain days. The cook-to-order breakfast that HGIs usually offer was totally missing, since the restaurant was closed on the two mornings we were there. I did not see this ANYWHERE on the website or would certainly have chosen a different hotel. Even though we had a car, there did not seem to be many places to eat; several we might have gone to were closed. There are several other hotels, even in the Hilton family, close by. I'd suggest picking one of them.
