Hotel is very nice and clean and super convienet to go to the beach. I like how when you come back from a day at the beach they have a wash area where you can wash the sand mext to the pool area. I also liked the heated pool hot tub. Also their coffee shop zephyr is really good too. Everyone is friendly.

I have no complaints about the hotel. It’s a 3 star and I think that it’s a nice 3 star at that. I do think it’s overpriced. You’re paying for the location. But that’s really about it. The staff was all lovely and super responsive. From the front desk to the maintenance everyone was wonderful! Parking is 36 dollars a day which also seems super high.

My now GO To hotel when visiting San Diego. My king room w/couch led directly to the pool. Private lounge sofa is directly outside your sliding glass door. The beach view is literally at the pool. Great staff, location to food spots is A . No issue w/noise etc on a Saturday night. Requests for service is optional through txt. Great hotel! Absolutely will stay again when visiting San Diego.

Very Wonderful Stay! We loved the property and the style of the hotel! We had a oceanfront room with a SPECTACULAR VIEW!!! The Front Desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived in town early and we were able to check into our room super early which was such a blessing! Thank You!We will definitely be returning!

This is a return trip to the Wayfarer (3rd trip). My wife and I really enjoy staying here. The location, updated features and amenities, and prime views are perfect. We'll definitely be coming back again. Pros: -Location: literally within a few minutes walking to the waves. Balcony views are perfect and take you to the action of the boardwalk. -Parking: Covered, underground lot. Safe. Gated. -Amenities: includes keurig coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. AC works great, although the ocean breeze is enough to chill the room. Minor suggestions: -Include 3-4 large bath towels (instead of 2). For people with long hair, it is nicer to have an extra large towel to dry the hair instead of having to share one towel for body and hair. I've had to ask for an extra towel after checking in, but it would be nice to have it included from the beginning. -Parking garage: The covered garage entrance is quite steep. Previously, I used the south most entrance but it was so steep that it would scrape the undercarriage of the car. If you look at the pavement, the lip of the downramp is raised above the level of the street. This time, I used the north entrance (closest to the lobby) but this still scraped the bottom of the car. This was not as bad as the southmost entrance, but it would be nice to have some repair to these ramps/street so lower clearance cars can use the garage. For reference, this is a stock 2023 Tesla Model 3 without altered suspension.
