there was a loud mechanical noise all night, very unprofessional for a hotel to allow something like that

Newly renovated, immaculately clean, great bed, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and free parking! Short walking distance to restaurants and shops on Union Street. Great deal.

La Casa Inn is close to Fishermen’s wharf and the Presidio. There are good dining options nearby. Ghirardelli Square is just a few blocks away too. Rooms are freshly renovated and super comfortable.

Place was great except for a couple of tiny nitpicks. Good: -Clean updated rooms -Staff was nice -Fridge and microwave Nitpicks: -Not enough places to hang towels (like none) -Could use a shower curtain or door to prevent whole bathroom from getting wet -Lights were a little bright -Don't personally love the sliding bathroom doors when staying with another person (less private feeling) But overall, would highly recommend!

Overall the place was ample and clean. There was also plenty of free parking space which was a big plus. The parking lot was also well kept. On the other hand, as I arrived to check in to the “lobby” or small waiting area, there was a couple being helped. The front desk didn’t bother to greet me or let me know he’d help me out eventually. Instead I waited until he was done helping the couple, which took longer than expected since the payment machine was down and they couldn’t process their payment. My check in was fast because I had already paid in advance. I typically bring my own toiletries, however it was a last minute trip and I forgot to pack shampoo. Unfortunately when I went into the shower at night the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty and I had to wait for the next day to request a refill. What really made my experience most unpleasant was that there were several men screaming at each other across the floors very loudly one night. I know hotel rooms are typically not the best sound proof, but these rooms were on another level. The men communicating loudly with each other across the floors were so loud that I had to come out and kindly ask one of them not to be screaming right in front of my room. He was polite and apologized. However, he moved to a different area and the screaming at each other continued. I couldn’t call the front desk because it was after hours. I was also able to clearly hear my neighbors’ conversations.

The external of the hotel looks dated, but my room was newly renovated room was very clean, nice furniture and well lit. The cabinet for the microwave was a little strange, because it does not stay up when opened and it was really difficult using the microwave. Felt safe in the area. Not many parking lots, but appreciated that is was free! Many good eateries within walking distance.

The location of the hotel was great and the guy at the front desk was very nice. The rooms were nice as they had been updated recently. The only problem is that the bedsheets are kind of dirty. I found multiple little stains on the bedsheet and then a pretty big brown stain on the blanket. I think it might have been coffee or something cause it was at the top of the blanket.

A recently renovated well appointed room that is tastefully decorated, very functional and very comfortable. Quite frankly, it looked as if the room was brand new. Check in was simple and the free parking was well appreciated. The hotel was convenient to public transportation and walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf.

Location and newly renovated, bonus parking. 7 days stay everyday housekeeping but someday should not be use back old tower and bed sheet.overall excellent.
