The Annex at Hayes Valley

Nice room nice place . Cozy room. . Restaurant all around .. convinces place . No homeless . Share bath but like pivate. No body and no busy. Recommend if you look for somewhere quiet and Convinience. P.s. No elevator.. if you have heavy baggage need to lift up by your own with stair.. 😅

The room and bathrooms were extremely clean. The area was extremely quiet except for after the food truck evening when the city washed the sidewalks. Even though it was a shared bathroom we only had to wait for a shower once out of 3 days. there were two toilet rooms and two shower/toilet rooms. I really appreciated a sink mirror corner in the room. Definitely would stay again. And where else can you get a room in San Francisco for $80 at night.

I was happy to be near the bathroom, have a sink in room, & have a bus stop right out front

It was so cold I couldn't sleep at night and there was no way to turn up the head in the room. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean for it being a shared bathroom between floors.

The location and the room are great but please not there is no desk office, no share kitchen and no cleaning every day

I called only to find out this place is NOT PET FRIENDLY Please update the listing to reflect that is NOT PET FRIENDLY. It will save people who are trying to bring their furry friend some time in the trip planning process.

I didn't get the information I needed to check in (e.g. gate code, wifi password, etc). When I texted the contact information they provided, I did not get a response.

I checked into my hotel room via the OpenKey app. I received a text the room was ready at 11:57. I arrived to the hotel around 1 pm. I called support at 1:09PM as I struggled with the app. When I entered the room, the smell was horrible. And there were white stains all over the bed quilt. I opened the windows that did not have screens to let in fresh air, then went to lunch. I arrived back around 3PM and stayed in the still stinky room until 5PM. I left around 5PM and returned at 11PM. I had left the windows open again, but the smell was still so strong. I checked out via OpenKey app around 11:30. I did not spend the night. I am regulating a refund due to the stains on the bed, the horrible smell, and not even staying the night.

The location was great but the price for the place was not too great. Pictures of bathrooms should be included. It was clean though :)
