A hotel without any sphere: I stayed in April when it was 27c. The pool in the hotel park was still closed. There were hardly any clients. Yes I did get an upgrade but for a 4* hotel: no tea/coffee room facilities; no iron facilities; not any internation channel on th eTV. At breakfast there was not any service: had to ask for eggs: people does hardly speak English and the young lady behind the reception was very rude. They advertise with a spa but you can not use the spa without using an extra paid treatment. They have the unacceptable habit to write on my block/worrkingnote beside my telephone. UNACCEPTABLE!

We were to be travelling from Perugia to spend a night in Rome before flying back to Australia. But Italy was experiencing a heatwave, so why walk around Rome, in and out of shops for 24 hours? What else to do? We opened a map of Italy. We saw Terni, partway between Perugia and Rome and then we saw San Gemini, just outside Terni. There was a choice of hotels, but we selected Grand Hotel San Gemini, mainly because it had a large pool area, which was just what we needed. The hotel was exceptional. Good value. Good staff (a shout-out to the reception staff and to the person who served us poolside for lunch and then at the restaurant for dinner a few hours later.) The pool area was magnificent. The balcony restaurant atmosphere was beautiful. The food was amazing - both in quality and in presentation. And San Gemini itself was a beautiful small place, nice cobbled streets, very quiet, with friendly people. We sat somewhere for tea and coffee and we felt very comfortable. We would like to return to San Gemini one day and if we do, we know which hotel we will be booking.

What a comfortable place to stay. Spent 2 nights just relaxing and welling the beautiful town of San Gemini. Shower has a steam shower in the junior suite. Would highly recommend upgrading if you’re up for a treat.

We lost a wedding ring during our stay that they retrieved for us. Great service and pleasant staff. Overall, the place was great!

We booked for a weekend. We met wonderful receptionists in our 3 day stay. They were efficient and very professional!The make up room was very fast but the bathroom was a bit complicated to use the shower. There are some little things that i noticed, our bathroom had some dirt that needs scrubbing. Not more! The pool area is the best place! Over all we are satisfied!!

Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni in questo hotel situato all'interno del borgo medievale di San Gemini. La location è molto suggestiva soprattutto perché si tratta di un palazzo storico. Le camere sono arredate con mobili moderni ma i pavimenti sono quelli originali. Noi abbiamo avuto una camera de luxe molto grande con un angolo in cui c'è una grande poltrona. Bagno grandissimo con doccia e vasca separati e con ben due lavelli. In alcune sale sembra di essere in un museo. Il personale è molto disponibile e pronto a soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti. La pulizia delle camere è buona. La colazione più che sufficiente. Parcheggio libero a soli 200 metri dall'hotel. Personalmente è un hotel che consiglio.

Magnifica struttura, elegante e ben curata. Abbiamo soggiornato (purtroppo) per un solo weekend. Eravamo in una camera superior che molti hanno definito inadeguata per la "vista terrazzo" (guardare foto) ma io sono claustrofobica e non mi ha arrecato nessun fastidio. Anzi, sono stata contenta di sapere che, nonostante avessimo una Classic da pacchetto Smartbox, ci avessero fatto un upgrade alla superior. Molto bella la vista, l'arredamento, pulita la stanza e carini i set in dotazione (spugnetta per scarpe, kit beauty, ciabatte, asciugamani, tutti i saponi compreso l'intimo). Ottima la colazione, che soddisfa l'esigenza di noi intolleranti al glutine al lattosio, con una particolare attenzione anche per i celiaci (torte fatte in casa, senza contaminazione). Carina la piccola palestra all'Interno della struttura. Gentilissimo e cordiale lo staff, sempre pronto a consigliarci e a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Insomma, speriamo di tornarci presto!! Grazie per tutto.

Struttura molto raffinata, accogliente, nuova e curatissima situata proprio all'ingresso del borgo (area con accesso in auto consentito solo ai residenti). la stanza deluxe era molto bella e spaziosa (così come il bagno) con vista sulla vallata. c'è anche una piscina nel cortile esterno ma essendo ancora inverno ora non usufruibile, come la bellissima terrazza panoramica vicina al campanile. colazione a buffet con ampia scelta. Personale cortesissimo e disponibile. purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte ma tornerò sicuramente. abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante dell'hotel: anche questo curatissimo sia nelle portate che nella presentazione,; elegante e ottima cucina...tutto accompagnato dagli ottimi vini di loro produzione. sono rimasta veramente entusiasta! Consigliatissimo, e il paese è un gioiellino, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia
